When I was younger,
I would pass you in the hall in school,
With a smile and a small Hi,
You had your group,
I had mine,
We were of a different kind,
Now a few years have past,
I have since moved and I go to another school,
I woke up one morning to hear the worst news of all ......
" 4 Riverton kids involved in a serious car accident and one is in critical condition "
As I waited with so much tension,
They then start to mention ......
When I heard your name,
I almost dropped to the floor with so much pain,
It was hard sitting in the hospital watching you struggle to survive,
Just one little mistake cost you your life,
Now your in heaven looking down on us all,
It hurts me so much because I never had the chance to sit down and talk to you,
To take the time out to get to know you,
Just a memory of your face remains in my heart,
I went to the site of the accident the other day,
Pulling up to the site ,
I see the cross,
In my seat I start to toss,
I get out and walk around saying some prayers to you in heaven,
Hoping you are looking down on me,
As I proceed to walk,
I find the side mirror from your Blazer all smashed,
I picked it up,
People may think thats nothing but in my heart it means so much,
A memory of you with so much love.

Wow, that's really sad. Death is a mystifying thing. May Sheena rest in peace . I like your poem and the rhymes are really good (I suck at rhyming). Sorry about what happened.

Both good and bad... The piece is excellent and the bad part being the actual incident that happened. Very well done, extremely heartfelt, with ouf course... the unfortunate accedient. My condolences to you and your friend. But regardless, keep up with the writing
