There's my friend and she's my neighbor. But I have no idea why , but she always goes to my house !! It's so annoying because sometimes I just want my privacy. I want to do my homework alone, I want to just eat alone , watch TV alone, and yea. But , she's always knocking on my door and asking to come in !! worse, she brings her brothers with her. And, yes they make a lot of mess. And I'm the one having to clean it up !! And she doesn't even care what they do . Her brothers eat all my food and my raisin oat meal cookies !! Today was worse. She was knocking on the door, and I had to literally HIDE in my room so she'd think no one is there. I was baby-sitting my sister today. She's loud, yes . I was so desperate I promised her if she didn't say a thing , I'd buy her a bike. Anyway, I can't live my life like this forever. I want privacy but I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. What shall I do ?

Sometimes you can't always avoid hurting people's feelings. ^^ The best you can do is tell her point-blank that you need space. Maybe suggest that she should call to ask instead of just coming over? That way you would have time to think of an excuse.

And about her brothers... thats just rude. Next time, if there IS a next time, make sure they know not to raid your kitchen.

We live so effin` close to each other though. And I'm good at excuses. Today I told her that I had to take my sister a shower. Man that was one long shower. So she just lay down on my bed the whole freaking hour. haha

Tell ur parents and her parents and explain to her that u need privacy...

actually that used to happen to me..but not anymore. yeah, next time she shows up at your house, just gently explain that you're busy, or you'd like to have some time for yourself.

^ That's what I always do haha .. but sometimes .. she just manages her way in. And I don't want to get parents involved. All they'll do is just make me let her in.

either hide from her like there is no tomorrow or tell her how you feel. but do it nicely! tell her that you want to have some privacy for the time being and that she can come back over later or tomorrow or whatever. or just make some excuse like you are grounded or something!

Well tell her that you want to do some stuff alone and make sure she gets the "alone" part.

just tell her you're busy and she can't come over all the time. i'd go nuts if someone did that to me.

You should just confront her and tell her you need privacy. If you don't, it'll probably keep happening. Or maybe you can tell your parents. They can do something about it.

HAHA .. you guys are so funny. =D Oh yeah, when she came over , I did not say anything to her . I acted like she wasn't there. Then she tried bringing up some conversation. Then, she cleaned my room up. How pathetic. It's like she HAS to be in my house. Well, finally she got the hint i didn't want her there. Yet she still comes ..

You think you got it bad....My aunt lives in my basement and whenever I'm home alone and I just want to listen to music or watch TV she comes upstairs and talk for an hour or just until my parents come home...shes constantly saying well I'm gonna go now (she never does until she's said that at LEAST 20x) she just lets herself into my room without asking and it pisses me off because I can't ask her to leave even nicely because then she get REALLY pissed off and bitchy, everyone wants her to move out but if we ask her to oh I can just smell the family battle staring to brew....and whenever I have my friends over alone she comes upstairs and she DOESN'T leave can you even imagine how annoying that is???!!!??? And finally to top it all off when my family is at home and just sitting in the living room or kitchen talking she listens to our conversations from the bottom of the stairs oh wait one more thing....when we are eating supper at the table which is VERY VERY RARELY<<< she comes up and stands and talks to us while we are eating..she knows how rarely we have family dinners yet everytime we have one she just has to come up and watch us eat GRRRR!!! She's family and I love her but I just don't love her annoying Frigging qualities (she washes the doorknobs in our house by the way...and we don't ask her to) grr!!! So yah that must suck having a neighbor like that but you can lock her out....I'm stuck with this

Ok well this is me talking and i get kinda violent sometimes. Either you tell her to screw off and make it clear to her that you find her really annoying. Or, just don't answer the door, don't hide, just act normal everytime she comes over and hopefully she will get the message.
