Im a girl. When I feel my throat, I feel a bump on it. I know its my voicebox or whatever it's called, but is it an Adam's Apple? Im sorry if you find this stupid. But is it an Adams Apple?

umm....as far as I know.....girls don't have Adam's apple. only guys...so I don't think you have that.

Everyone has a bump there. It's just that guys' are more noticable. I don't think there is anything to worry about.

I think we all have that bump thingy, but since men have lower voices, their voice box causes it to jet out. Something like that. I asked my teacher about it when I was in elementary school, and that was something like her explaination. Dont worry, u arent a man. :D

from what i have learned from my biology teacher is that everyone has an adams apple but with girls ours dont show. i dont know about it though. that was from my teacher. *shakes head*

Girls still have the same part as what's known as an "Adam's Apple" in a guy, its just much smaller.

... Guys' Adam's apples are really noticeable.. I always thought I had one as well.. But I saw this guy with one and I felt relieved that I didn't have one. Plus, I don't have a deep voice lol. Yea, you shouldn't worry about it. :]

All Girls have an adam's apple. The thyroid cartilage of the voice box always forms a bump in the throat. Usually it isn't very visible in females, but many women have a prominent adam's apple. Sandra Bullock, Winona Ryder, Ali Landry, and Halle berry are some examples. So, don't feel bad about it and keep your head up.
