i remember one time i was just hanging out with my friends.. and i was talking with one of my guy friends (we'll just say his name is brian)....then when most of the people left and it was just me and one of my girl pals were still there, she was like were you flirting with Brian? I was like no i was just only talkin to him. She looked at me like "i know u were flirting" kind of look. I was just talking to the guy and had no intention of flirting with him.

well it depends on the person..if you're normally shy and you talk a lot then maybe it's flirting? i don't know..it really depends on you.

Well, it's kind of hard to tell sometimes when a girl talks to a guy non-romantically. You were probably acting very friendly, but that's how some girls flirt. Most girls "joke around" with their guy friends, but to someone watching, who doesn't know that they're just friends, it can look pretty flirty...

yeah thats happened...but its hard to tell since girls all flirt differently so yeh.

i cant really tell the difference. i've had people come up to me and ask if i was flirting. i think when i get in a really good mood im just happy around everyone cuz im not a flirt. me and my friends are a pretty close group and we all hug but it never goes past that trust me! i guess theres a fine line between flirting and being friendly but i sometimes have a hard time finding it!

Well, i have 2 friends that flirt all the time, they dont' actually realize they're doing it, but they do. and When i bring it to their attention, they were like, I wasn't. I dont even like him/her... and im like u so were!

well yeah there's a big difference when your flirting your like moving alot and smiling and nudging them with your elbow and when your talking your just talking xP

Flirting = You laugh a lot, and if the guy says something like, "Yeah, I like soccer." And your response is something along the lines of, "OMG! I like TOTALLY LOVE soccer! It's like the only sport I watch and PLAY! OMG, you're like so totally AWESOME!" And you really don't like soccer THAT much, then . . . yeah.

Talking = You're just talking. Once again the guy says, "Yeah, I like The Offspring." And you're like, "Yeah, The Offspring's pretty cool. I never knew you liked them . . ." Or responding similar to that, then that's not being flirty.

some people just don't understand that. For me, like when i ask people if they know a guy, like will be like, "ohh do you like him?" it gets annoying.

OMFG i HATE it when that happenS!!! like i'm really touchy with all my friends >> i get about ten hugs a day.. and thats girls only its about 15 or 20 after guys and when i talk to a guy i really CONCENTRATE on him. like i focus on what he's saying and i dont divert my attention. then my friends come along and they're all like GASP you were FLIRTING!!! and all I (and my guy friend) was doing was poking each other.

but my two personal favorites:
when i was talking to my brother. and my friends thought i was hitting on him.. and i was like HELLO WHAT KIND OF FREAKS ARE YOU THATS MY EFFING BROTHER!! oh man that was hilarious.

and i was wrestling with a guy cuz he stole my lunch. =X whats wrong with that? all i wanted was my breadsticks back. its HIS fault that he wouldnt give them to meh.

Well i was talking to this boy about football/soccer and hes in sixth form and my friends said i was flirting and said i was too young to go out with him anyway, i was a like wtf! we were only talking because he supported the same team as me. My friends always do it and its really annoying, the girls i see flirting usually touch the person on the arm or something lol. My friends always jump to conclusions, they always flirt all the time, yesterday my friends were on a bus just making out with people lol.

I think that happens to everyone every once in a while. Always happens to me cuz I'm a natural flirt.
