I met this guy on an internet game, world of warcraft...

We were both the same level in the game (17) and we turned out to be the same age(14)...he's a guy I'm a girl...I gave him my email and we talked on msn for a while...he sais he lvoes me but how can that be true?

he hardly even knows me...I'ms tarting to think he might jsut have a really depressing life at home and eh's turning to me...I kinda like his personaility sometimes..but other time he gets on my nerves and gets really emotional.

I don't know really waht to do...he has all these dreams of coming over to canada (forgot to tell you, I live in canada, he lives in florida, slight problem there tongue.gif ) and meeting me for real....but I know they won't come true...how can I tell him that? I really don't like him in the way he wants me too...but how am I sopposed to tell him that?

he's relaly a tender person, and I don't want to hurt his feelings, but he's getting his hopes up so high...I shouldn't let him dream like this because it's unfair to him...I shoudl tell him how I feel..but I don'twant to lose his freindship either..I'm so confused...I need help.. cry.gif help please?!

Oh, but they do. All girls lie too. It's an undeniable fact.

^ She's right. People online hardly ever tell the truth. You never know if you're talking to a 14-year-old dude from Florida or a 65-year-old man from Pakistan. Honestly, if his life really was that depressing, he'd be dead by now.

If you're really desperate to meet him, bring a guy friend along just in case he decides to attack you when you say you don't want a relationship.

i agree.

you can't trust what people tell you on the internet. he might just as well be lying about his age or even where he comes from. i'm not asking you to not trust him entirely but unless you've met him on webcam or sth you'd better be careful.

I agree. I used to find joy in finding child molestor and telling them what sickos they wer,e thne reporting their sns to cia. (sad huh?) But a lot of them tell you they love you right off the start, becaus ethey know young girls tend to fall for that. then they try and cyber with you and whatever and may get really mad at you. They always want to meet you as well. Its usually a trap. And he sounds exactly like so many people I've talked to before. And becareful, one time I asked a guy to show his webcam so I could see it was really him, and he sent me live feed of his penis. So be very careful. There are so many sexual predators out there, and they know exactly what to say and how to say it. Some of them even have kids themselves. I met a guy who knew I was 18 (at the time) told me he has a 17 year old and a 19 year old, then proceeded to ask me if whenever he was in town, if we could get a hotel room and spend a few nights of sexual passion together. I was like, why don't you bring you daughters along you sicko?!?! Lol. SO yeah please be CAREFUL!!!

I once "met" this guy in a chatroom.. he asked for my "asl", and when i told him, he started to "sex talk"... blink.gif When i eventually shoved him off, he was like, "You cold b!tch, you wouldn't be much fun to cyber with anyway."

i have a friend who's like that, i have a couple of friends. some actually met and hooked up. they were one city apart from each other wacko.gif but anywho he's probably lying or he has a false perception because maybe he does have a bad life at home and you're the only one that understands him. and since you're online you cant hurt him really.

if that made any sense. i guess it's good to maintain a online friendship, but the relationship im not so sure yet. maybe if you guys could webcam or something for a bit. get to know each other a bit more. and then maybe hook up eventually

but for now just get to know each other WAY more.

and if you do decide to meet one day lets say, meet in a public place (ie. the mall) and bring a friend along.

i agree
Fatality
This is why I tend to stay away from the chatroom.
I go to forums such as this and comment and blehness.
But I stay away from chat's because there so openly known and it's just insane. To many hackers. It's live and bleh. Sometimes I'll go in there with a friend and make people mad at me.
[sad..yes?]

But, that's about it.
Just tell him.
It's not like he can murder you.
Or, does he know where you live? ^.-

I completely agree. All those online guys out there are just a bunch of cheap losers who can't find real girls to say "I love you" to. _dry.gif
