well why do you want a date? just to have a date?
do you like anyone? if so and you want a date by the end of the week ask him.
but if you want a date just for the sake of having a date don't get a date

go with a bunch of friends, i say group dates or more fun

why be tied to one person exclusively the whole night?

hmm... wel the first option if i were in your situation was to ask one of my guy friends. because you know u'll have fun and u dont gotta be tied down to him. and altogether it'll be an awesum time because u always have fun with ur friend. Plus you can be non chalant in asking him to go with you because after all ur just friends. Just play it off cool. You'll get a date u'll be fine.

if you want a date, make sure you pick someone who you know kinda well, so that you'll be sure to have a good time. I always did really creative things to ask someone to a dance. Make sure first off that they arent going with anyone else. cuz if u go all ot and do something awesome, theyll most likely say yes just cuz u put time into it, but if they already have a date, it just wastes ur time!! A thing I did one year, is made a huge poster thing, and cut it up onto 7 pieces, and put one piece in each of his 7 classes, and then when he put it together it said how bout homecoming. So yeah, just think of simple but creative things to do, and find u a nice guy to go. Easy peasy. Oh, and if you want some creative ideas, I'm chok full of em, so pm me and I'll help :D

Just ask someone, they can't do anything more horrific than say no and if that then just find another guy or better yet go with your friends I know it sounds kinda dumb but you would probably have so much more fun being with friends than just being with a guy, but on the other hand he could say yes and the problem is solved

Good Luck though!

well if you have a crush on anyone, go for them. the worst thing they can say is no. if you aren't crushing, go for a good guy friend. it would probably be more fun anyways because you are comfortable already with them and there would be no pressure to do anything you don't want to do *ie, SEX*

you dont always need a date. just go with your friends and hang out .. there must be other people without dates. and if you really want one then you should go for it!

she has a good point..go with someone you know you'll have fun with..not just for the sake of having someone.
