I like this guy.. but he ignores me. but smiles when i'm around him. He also talks to me online.. He talks to the people around me and is always including me but when i try to talk to him alone, he ignores me. When I see him in the halway he smiles and stuff, but then turns away.

well, juswt because he smiles around you doesn't mean he likes you. With the small amount of information you've given us, It sounds like nothing more than a little crush. I can't say if he likes you or not...

yeah just because he`s smiling doesnt mean its about you...no offense* maybe he is..but why would he ignore you if you`re talking one on one>?

If he ignores you, just hang out with him more often. Bomb him with kindness. Also, it depends on what kind of smile he gives you to determine if he likes you or not. But if he only smiles and nothing more, I don't think he likes you in that kind of way.
But of course he thinks of you as a friend

SO guys do. If they like you they will ignore you or maybe he just doesn't like you and is trying to be nice becasue he knows you like him. Not trying to be eman or anything just telling the truth. Its happened to me before. Or maybe he ashamed to talk to you in front of his friends. Who knows. ITs a crush they come and go but if he ignores you then he not good enoguh and if you ignore him then you truly dont LIKE him

umm he could be playing hard to get? i dont kno a smile can mean something, but i doubt it unless he continuously does it you kno? maybe if he stares at you a lot...thats one hint.

Wow a confusing/lost position there. Yeah I think that happened to me too. He ignored me, right after he did. I started to ignore him because I thought that's what he wanted. For my opinions on the reasons I think is like.

1 --- He is shy
2 --- He just likes you because you hangout with the popular kids
3 --- He just likes you because he likes your best friend, so to get closer to her, he said that he likes you.
4 --- He just doesn't know what to say. Maybe he's good at talking when his friends are around.

Just give him time.

When he ignores you or look the other way, walk up to him and strike a conversation...

"How have you been?", "I heard that you...."

Show him that you're interested. If he's shy and you're shy, you're not going to get anywhere when you just let him ignore you.

Then again, he could just be smiling and saying hi to you to be nice. It doesn't have to mean he likes you.
