It's simple...men need to feel secure that the woman they love feels the same about them. The human psyche has a crazy need for love. The same as your heart, eh?

I think girls are more willing to share feelings, so guys dont really want/expect care from other guys as much as girls

yea, you gotta have someone to hold, and girls tend to be the one who who hugs back and such. lol. Or was it the other way around? Dunno lol. Plus, guys need to feel appreciated, and us girls know what to do

Yeah.. I agree with everything said.. guys need to know that someone cares about them, that they mean something to someone, and even though they may already know it, the hug reemphasizes it and thats always a good thing

guys need caring just as much as girls. guys try to put up a front at times like it doesn't mean anything but they have feelings just as much as we. their demands may be slightly different from us women but generally the basic needs are there..
