my family is evil. my mom doesn't smoke, but my dad does. his friend is over and they are smoking and drinking stupid alcohol. i always cough when there's smoke. i put the fan blowing at their direction and closed the door so i wouldn't smell it. turns out, they closed my fan. =.=

i think u should go somewhere else when they r smoking..try to avoid them when they r smoking so u dont get second hand smoking effects..
and i dont think u can change ur dad and his friend unless they feel like changing themselves..so unless they feel like changing, they wont change..

i think you should get those pamphlets that tell you why smoking and second hand smoke is dangerous in the language your parents speak (if it's not english...most older asian people are pretty stubborn about "american" things...). you can probably get them from school...or from a website or something

it's not disrespectful that you yelled at them, they're the ones being disrespectful because you're telling them that it can hurt you but they continue doing it...

this is what i did my mom used to smoke so i looked up everything i new and did a presention on it and made it really really really long and said that were going over this every night and my dad supported me cuz he wanted her to stop to and my mom didnt want to hear it so she stopped! your should try it! but be calm about it...the more you yell the more they want to do it

I've been trying to get my dad to stop smoking forever. He's the only one in my family that does. Nothing has worked so far, but I'm still going to keep trying. I guess that's all you really have to do because one day it just might work.

i think you did the right thing...smoking sucks..and you know it could be more harmful for the person breathing it in than the person actually smoking..so what i think you should do is...walk by them once more and then faint...and make sure they hear you...and play dead for awhile...and when the come over..pop back up and be like DO YOU WANT THAT TO HAPPEN TO ME?!...yep...it's a fail proof plan.

I would just ask him politely one day saying cigarette smoke and such are affecting my life so can you please stop. Say if you love me and mom you'll do this for us.
