I agree....In my own opinion, I think the establishment called religion is just a way for the world to cope with what they dont know. Who tells a person that they must have a religion...generally it's their parents, who in turn get it from their own parents. This is how religion has survived for so long. When you ask a religious person about evolution, the main source of their answers are from the bible. Apparently there is an answer for every question. I once asked a friend "there is evidence of Dinosaurs dating back to millions of years, but yet , according to the bible the world is only thousands of years old?".....He responded by telling me about the seven days of creation..which wasnt really seven days but years and years of creation. The Bible has many fallacies that ordinary people like myself fail to see, yet the theory of evolution can be accounted for.

We cannot ask the question of "who created God?"...the answer falls well beyond our comprehension, because nobody knows if He really exists. It's all a matter of faith, as some people would say. A philosopher said "God is not tangible, God has no judgement, God has no emotions. He is only a manifestion of one's mind and social well-being". And...nobody knows if Heaven exists...only the dead. So basically, there's no way in proving that.

So...i guess I'm on both sides, though im leaning more towards evolution. My belief in a higher power was established by my parents when I was a young child, but now, as an adult I see things differently. I no longer pray everynight before going to bed, but I guess everyone grows out of that. I rarely think about God when I go through my daily routine, though I know someone is there, but I don't know who. It's just hard to believe that everything around me is the result of a single "person", and not a long process that took millions of years.

Wow its rare that i agree with someone like that but i have to say i do agree with that last comment.....i do strongly believe in evolution....that just how i am i have never been able to believe in something i could never see.....i never really believed in santa after the age of 5...Sad i kno but that is just how i am...im the Odd ball of the family.....As for a believe...i believe that there maybe a high power yes....but i feel that all people have to believe in is there self....if you feel you can do nething...and you believe you can do nething....well then you can...do what ever you set your mind to....Many people as a hole have a fear of dealin with the unknown...that is why so many people do not like the idea of government spending soo much money on space exploration....because that dont kno....but until you see something and experience it you'll never kno for sure.....Evolution can be seen all around us....ei. The Galapagos Islands......evolution is always happening there.....it happens all around us we just never pay enough attention to it...it happens fast sometime...sometimes so slow you never realize it.....but its there......On way to how that all liveing creatures came from a common ansestor...is by researchin Embryology....at about 2 weeks into the brith cycle all embryos look the same...Human, Fish, Lizard, Mammals, Birds.....they all have Gill slits and a Tail....then there genes kick in and they develop into different organisms.....Life is interesting always changing...Forever changing....we can only hang on for the ride and enjoy the time we got.....

Haha...evolutionists...umm...yes, they would believe we came from apes...but in a sense, we all evolved from one organism. Um...why do you say "do you really"? We are 98% related to them by DNA. Really now, no matter what the bible says, creation is still more farfetched than evolution. There's just isn't any proof. So that leaves you with what? faith? And when you stack up faith against hard genetic facts, what then?

Here's another thing to think about:
If Adam and Eve were the first ever humans, then that makes everybody related. So basically everyone's going to hell because everyone's committing incest.

Nobody ever came from apes.....first thing ne good Biologist will tell you bout evolution is that Humans, and apes have a common ancsestor...not that we evolved from apes.....Evolutions works on the basic principle that when part of a population of one species is isolatied from the rest it adapts to that....it changes....evolution is that progression of adaptations that worked...if they didnt work that creature died....adaptions inturn start as genetic mutations.....and extra chromosome...or a mix up in the DNA sequence....if the mutation works you pass it on to your children and they inturn with have it and so one.....its basic genetic variation

Creation all the way. I learned about evolution in Biology, and to me it all sounded ridiculous. Biologists find just one bone of a fish and can create an entire fish from it, which supports evolution? What kind of evidence is that? Talk about stretching the truth.

Time isn't an issue here, discoveries are made as human gain knowledge. My teacher doesn't have anything to do with my belief either. This is almost none-sense. Sorry if I sound harsh, your reasoning for it doesn't make much sense to me.

I'm one of those people who believes that there is a possibility that both Evolution and Creation could've happened, because there's no convincing proof to disprove either one.

Are you sure you've examine all evidence for evolution? What sounds ridiculous is that you're saying that it's all fish and bones when there's a lot more to it.

How bout this... God created the world in 7 days... But God's days lasted thousands if not millions of years... So God was creating and evolving the animals over that period of time.

Darwin was on a ship or something when he was writing his theories. They passed a series of islands all with the same birds, but each had different beaks. On an island that had plentiful berry bushes and the like, the birds had short stubby beaks...and on other islands where the bird had to, say, get bugs out of rotting logs, their beaks would be longer. Darwin decided from this that every species adapts to it's surroundings, and that over a longer period of time, these animals could change in more extreme ways.


He was right in the aspect that animals adapt to their surroundings, like with the beaks. He was wrong to assume that they could change in such extreme ways. Only like 7% or even a much smaller percentage(*forgets*) of the fossils and other stuff that scientists have dug up actually SUPPORT the evolution theory (Note: its a scientific theory...not a scientific law) Therefore, 93% or more of the evidence points FAR FAR AWAY from evolution.

That's because the corriculum of biology that I did wasn't cluttered with the propaganda known as "evolution theory".
