like my other poll, this is between fundamentals and flashy playing. i like streetball, since i play that at playgrounds and at sku. but i also play in a league wit classic nba rules. which do u like?

I like to watch both. But streetballin' looks hella cool and you can tell they're playin' for fun and for the love of the game. You can't really tell with the high-paid NBA players. So I like streeball better.

well, i could tell ppl like MJ was having fun, so some nba players are having fun. the only thing i dont like bou streetball, is that the guys seem to show off too much/boast

Well the people playing in the NBA boast the most by making sponsors pay them more money than they ever would deserve by saying that their worth it. t They play for money, not for fun. MJ is the only player that ever liked playing basketball because everyone else on the court was insignificant to him.

Street ball is about attitude and playing real B-ball, the NBA is for wussies

And most tricks they do on street ball, maybe all would be considered travel or walking or something...their entertainers, not sell-outs. I wonder if there's a street hockey league?

Uhm, I know nothing about nba. But streetballers are cool to watch. They do tricks like the Harlem Globetrotters (or the ones that are my cousin's friends anyway.)

yeah, but if streetball players were better they could get to the nba, nba players are better to me cause they have proven to the entire nation that they are the best of the best. The nba player now aren't as good as those from like the 80's early 90's, but I bet they would wipe the floor with streetball players in a regulation game. And remember, you cant do all those tricks in a regulation game.

i think that NBA guys aren't as good because before it was for the love of the game. o, and the and 1 team did verse some NBA guys, but i forgot who one

I think NBA is better because it's based on the actual rules of the sport. Sure And 1's cool and Sauce handles the ball pretty well, but when it comes to playing within the rules, he's nothing more than a guy who can dribble with mediocre shooting.

streetball (only and1 folks) is fun to watch.. they can do all these moves and they can play nba ball too.. but im more of a fundamental fan.. so i take nba over streetball..

See NBA players aint that great these days you know...the best players were back in the day..such ass Dr. J and Pistol Pete etc. so i moved to streetball plus thats wha i do in my spare time...go to the park and ball

well i disagree.. i think nba players today have the ability to play streetball.. and i think they're more athletic than players back in the day.. take AI.. starbury.. tmac.. kobe.. and then you got KG.. j. oneal.. and the two young players MELO n BRON.. i know they can play ball anywhere.. but there are very few streetballers that can play in the nba.. only rafer alston (aka skip to my loot) has proven he can play in the nba.. but yeah i think nba players today are better than yesterday..

i cant argue with you guys about DR. J.. wilt.. bob cousy.. pete marivich.. they're all great players..

You know what's cool? Playing a real game when a "cool little streetballer" does some tricks, gets nowhere, and then travel and miss a layup. I appreciate guys like Rafer Alston aka Skip to my Lou who know when to play street and when to really ball.

I vote NBA. I dislike the whole "flashy" thing. I'd much rather watch the classic thing than see people dance on the court and give the art of ball-playing a bad name.
