My first one was ok. No cramping. I just hated feeling gross and having to change the pad. Ugh.

mm first period happened during my sleep (thank god!), so when i woke up, i was actually disgusted by the blood..yuck

I really don't remember how much blood. All I remember was that my mom was on an extended trip in southern California and I was too embaressed to tell my dad.

i sat in the bathtub and cried the first day of my period. after 2 years i still can't explain why i did that i just did. hmm..

i had NO idea i started my period... and i was wondering why my stomach started hurting like a bitch.. .and then i went to the batrhoom and realized i started. .hahah ...it didnt get on the outsside of my jeans tho... i was wearing thick jeans.. lol

i didnt leak that much, no cramps either
so that was good...

urg...first one...i was freaken scared, i mean i kno it would happen, but it was scary...and the thing was...my parents were in this huge fight...so i didn't kno what to do...i told my step mom and she just threw me a pad and told me to read pamplets they gave out in middle school ...i guess it came in the wrong time...i don't remember i had any cramps tho...which is good...

it was very light. so it wasn't so bad. It was so light I wasn't even sure what it was =/ So I ignored it, went to swimteam...where it got a bit heavier

I forgot all about my first encounter with period...I do remember in 7th grade when my friend was surprised that I didn't know what period was, they said I'll know pretty soon and a couple months later I was just like "OOOOHHHHH"

Mine started in the morning so I caught it before it got too bloody. I was prepared for it too though, since everyone around me already had it. I was excited for it before I got it, but now that I have it I want it to go away... until I'm ready for a kid of course =)

i just got a lil blood on my underwear and then that was it...but now when i have my period its MUCH heavier

Well.. it depends on when it happens...

It has a tendancy to come along at night so it takes me hours to realize it (because I'm sleeping) so A LOT comes out over that period of time. (My froggie boxers got ruined over that. *tear* )

But during the day I catch it fast enough that I can just get tampons and fix myself up.

mine was a breeze. It was like...nothing really. It was just a few days and it was really really really light. Thats all I remember. It was about 6 months later when I started getting cramps from hell. sucked.

CRAMPS! omg. i can never forget that! i was scared. my mom never told me what it was. i remember watching tv and they would talk about starting "it" and i had no clue what it was. the first time i had it, i only had a little, hah.

god.. i will never forget the intense cramp pain on my first day.

I got really bad stomach cramps (which actually wasn't unusual for me at the tiem so I didn't even think that it was sometihng different) but then I suddenly realized that my underpants were wet and I'm like "uhhh, how could I wet my pants standign up and..not notice?!" so I rushed to the bathroom and saw the blood...than I waddled to my bedroom trying not to touch the blood in my underpants and then I put on a pad and went downstairs adnt old my mom..pretty simple...but I Was miserable all day cause I thought ppl could see my pad thoruhg my pants or something..but I kinda doubt it, I was jsut really really miserable...with the cramps and everything

I hardly get cramps at all now tho! YAY! ..that's the worst part...but I keep advil in my pocket/purse all the tiem anyway...jsut incase..god I hate those stomach cramps..

why do humans have ot get periods and like no other naimal on earth does?!?!?!? like take cats for example, I sued to have an unspade female cat as an indoor cat and she never leeked blood, EVER! it's weird....why do humans do it?

i was like "hmmm, is that blood?" forgets about it and remembers later that i have gotten my period.
