Well, at first, I didn't know what "Fruits Basket" was. However, being the crazy manga/anime freak that she is, my friend Jasmine forced me to read it...Okay, okay, I was curious about the mangas, so she let me borrow vol.1 and 2. It's cool. However, I haven't seen the anime...Yes.

Yeah I love Fruits Basket. Especially Kyo and Yuki. ;) LoL. But I only have three of the DVDs.. I'll be getting the fourth one soon I hope.

yuki and kyo are sooooooooooo cute! however, my 5 year old sister thought yuki was a girl the entire time! his voice is so...sweet and girlish...not a bad thing though!^_^

i know Fruits Basket!! i don't watch it tho. i read the manga. i saw a poster of Kyo, Yuki and Tohru and i thought that Kyo was cute....

Concept: This might take a bit. Well Tohru is a girl whose mom died and so she lived all alone in this tent. Well she stumbles on this house one day and it turns out to be Yuki Sohma's house (Yuki is their school prince) Well something happens and she ends up getting to stay with them. It turns out that when anyone from the Sohma family gets hugged by the opposite sex they turn into the animals of the Zodiac. So there are12 members of the Zodiac and Kyo turns into the cat. So he is the odd ball of the family. Then there is the head Akito but he doesn't turn into anything but I don't think I can say why. Basiclly it her going through living with them. That's the best I can do to explain it.. It's funny though

My favorite Charaters are Hatori, Shigure, Kyo and Ayame. Youki's voice is only girlish in the Japanese version of it. In the English version he is played by a man, I am pretty sure. I have a few on my computer but they are random and all in Japanese with the sub titles. I want the DVD's though..

The manga is good. You know Momiji scares me a bit. That song he sings got stuck in my head one day.. It was horrible and my friends were about to kill me because of it x_x

yea, yuki's voice is soft and girlish..i prefer Kyo over him...but he is such a prince....oh no...no choice..i like em both...they're unique in their own ways...

After the story of Hatori and Kana, Hatori has been my favorite. I feel so sorry for what happened to him, though I do semi like Akito. I feel back for Akito too since he has to die so young and all.. That would suck. Ayame is just funny.. I mean come on he has a "dress" shop.. for men. Him and Shigure making comments that they sleep together. Me favorite line is "Not in front of the children." I am a kind of Anti Tohru fan but she is much better in Japanese. The american girl that plays her has an annoying voice, but she is lovable.

Yes, Yes! I love Fruits Basket! I have all 4 DVD's but I've never read the manga. I might give it a shot, I heard they had more information in the manga than in the anime!

oh man i love fruits basket Finally someone made a topic about it. I usually never read manga or watch anime, but i really like the series. hehe fav character is def Kyo. I love how he treats Tohru and cares for her and all. It's nice

fruits basket is so touching. mix of almost everything: romance, friendship, fantasy, angst...

but watching it will make a huge difference than reading it. (the anime cuts the story off at a good place too). =D

favorite character? i'd have to say touru/tohru, what a WONDERFUL soul and PERFECT role model. (except when she was giving up [anime only] and went to her mother's grave, weeping-- showing that she is also human, that she makes mistakes.)

I love Kyo and Hatsuhara.

I just wish Tohru would end up with Yuki or Kyo at the end.

I felt no closure at the end of the anime, and I've barely started the manga.
