i used to do that. it takes too much effort now. i just hate when people use those huge fat shoelaces on some shoes, such as chucks.

A lot of people do that at my school.
I used to, too....that is, until it became a fad. Then I stopped.
It's not weird.
I see a LOT of people having two different neon laces and such.
It's really not strange at all.

hey thats totally cool. I'm all about mix'n and match'n my shoestring on my adidas superstars. The stripes are this metallic bluish purpleish black color, so I switch my laces out with all sorts of blues and purples, and of corse balck and white. And I lace em up different too. Theres nothing wrong with that. My friend wear rainbow shoelaces on one shoe (green converse) and then on the other she she wears black with green stars (purple convers) at the same time. Be who u wanna be. No one ever set a law that you had to match everything. Be individual...then u can laugh at them for all being the same :D

^ i know what you are talking about. i do that from time to time too! only because the belts never fit me anyway! -__-
but to answer your question about the different colored shoelaces, i dont see a problem with being different at all! i actually think it's very cool! :D

I wear one blue shoelace on my right shoe and a white shoelace on my left shoe. That was to celebrate getting my new Fubus ^^. I've just kept 'em like that 'cos they're fun to look at, I guess. It's not really a trend at my school, but some people do it. I think it's cool =].
