Why do people always have to put music into catagories? Music is Music, it's supposed to be freeing and expressing yourself. you can't always express yourself into one catagory. Give her a break. Avril lavigne has a decent body, and an awesome job... she's also canadian, i want to live in canada.. that's the only respect i have for her.

avril makes the most horrible, horrible music of all time, she might as well just be emo... for instance, her album is half about her and her idiotic boyfriend(s) and her newest B.S. is alot worse Liz Phair's recent crap, which is completely savaged in the press, but i think she gets away with it because she's young and doable... before, it was being she was making a complete idiot out of herself... but not being half naked at the same time.

she is always dressed up in this sht that can best be described as '77 era Diane Keaton meets '86 era Soleil Moon-Frye... Infact, nobody dresses like that.. ever... except maybe.. MAYBE... on halloween and nobody with any originality of their own is going to think your cool just because your clothes are somewhat different than everyone else's.
