hey i just came back from surgery...i got my lower wisdom teeth pulled out and the "skin" in between ur 2 front teeth pulled out. see, i hav a huge space in between my 2 front teeth so yea the skin in between was sorta big so they cut it out.
and they hurt a loot. my jaw is all numb..just wondering if any of you had an experience like this or similar to it.

HOLY SHIT! I HAD ORAL SURGERY 2 DAYS AGO FOR AN IMPACTED TOOTH!!!! haha thats SO weird!!

keep taking pain killers....and put an ice pack on your cheeks or else they will be MAJORLY swollen(like mine are) I can even go to school because they are so swollen!!

I've had oral surgery before. They put me to sleep and took out 2 molars, and had to put a chain on a tooth in my gums to pull it down. That day sucked, and after that I thought I never had to go back there again, but when I got my braces off, my ortodontist said I had to get all 4 wisdom teeth out this summer.

i don't think i have done that...but i had at least 10 teeth yanked out in my life and i have the experience of braces

wisdom teeth are teeth you get in your 20s i think...but they had to take mine out before they grew in because it was blocking my molar from coming in. so yea, and the skin thingy..i have a big space inbetween my 2 front teeth. so they just cut the skin that was in between there. i cant chew. >.<

i have braces too..I hate them. Im not going to school tommorrow because my mouth is STILL swollen

I got my wisdom teeth out last Valentines Day, I so sympathize with you...cause it sucks!

never hapopened to me.... but i do have braces and i recently thrashed in a mosh pit and some realllllly big dude like elbowed me in the face... he made my teeth a little loose and sore, he gave me a black eye, and my braces cut up all inside of my mouth. but now im thanking God that i have braces because my teeth could have been alot more loose lol...

but hey, im not complaining...i love to mosh lol

No....the only thing ive ever had done was when I was little I got teeth pulled, and when i was about 8 or 9 i had a root canal, but thats it.

I had all of my wisdom teeth removed last year. Hurt like crap. I was drugged up on full doses of codeine for a week (as in, I woke up only to eat and shower, both admittedly infrequently). I just slept most of the pain off because it hurt too badly to be awake. After that I was still pretty drugged up for a few weeks, but not to the point where I was sleeping all the time. It is not an experience I would ever want to repeat.

Hope you feel better soon, especially after my cheery little memory. ;P
