Every f**king time i try to send an IM it closes. I am gettin real sick of it too... what the hell is going on?

I had the same exact problem. Try re-installing it.

hmmm i have never had that happen to me....maybe you were both running an old version of aim?

Its the latest version and I reinstalled it about 100 times.

That's happened to me... I just restarted my computer and AIM and it worked

i don't know! the only problem i am having with aim is that i can't format my screenname!

Used to have that problem for a little while... finally it worked for me... I just kept trying.

About your problem... hmm... well I would re-install it first, which you said you did... and nothing. I honestly don't know. I used to have this thing where it would take like 10 seconds to send my IM or it wouldn't send it at all... but that was on dial-up. Plus, I just gave it about 5 minutes and it started working again. That wasn't the only tine it's done it to me. AIM does do some strange things doesn't it?
