I hate Lv bags. They look very cheap and the material they use just makes me gag. They look bulky too. Please explain to me what attracts you guys to it.

Edit : Ok to end all confusions, disputes, and arguments, I am talking about the Monogram bag. I'm sorry Barely Coherent .. it's just that so many have that style that I was beginning to think that's the only one Louis Vittoun designs.

i know i think they're ugly. but all the girls at my school have louis vutton bags. haha even one of my friends has a KNOCK-OFF of it. yea i know, itz sad.

I agree with you to a certain extent, that I don't understand why so many people are in love with Louis Vuitton bags. That's not to say that they're not nice bags. Some of them are really nice, but I don't get what the hype is about.

Which brings me to another question: Why don't a lot of other designers get more credit? Look at Balenciaga...their bags make me drool. And Marc Jacobs...although it's the same designer as LV.

The thing is, people get so excited about LV, and they give the wrong image of the label. Vuitton indeed has beautiful bags, but they are hardly ever given credit because of all this media buzz over the ugly Multicolore Murakami bags.

wow, I totally agree with you..they are ugly. Especially the brown ones. But I do like the ones that are white with the different color LV labels.

i dont really think they are ugly but i really wudn't pay so much money for one... like a super-mini size bag that u can put like a pen is like $250-350. im not even kidding.

I adore Louis Vuitton bags. Although I only have one that's authentic because they are really pricey. I love almost all of their stlyes.. and I know about every style ever made. Yes, I <3 LV. They are extremely well made.. gorgeous leather, gorgeous interior. They have a lot of classic, timeless styles. Their regular monogram bag matches everything. So many girls/women love Louis Vuitton because it's the quintessential example of a beautiful timeless bag. And plus it's a designer brand. D&B had copied a few of their styles too. And so have many other designers. If I was rich I would probably have a closet full of LV and Marc Jacobs bags. Two of my favs!

Some LV bags are okay... but I think most of their styles are ugly. I think alot of people buy them because of a fad, not actually because they really like them. They are way overpriced... and alot are not even that cute.

i think that they are nice but i think that any other kind of material looks just as nice. i mean, all it is is just some flower designs on some italian leather. nothing really THAT special.

I think some are absolutely gorgeous, but also, there are some that are utterly disgusting. Either way, they're all made of amazing material, but now it's all about the brand at the status that comes with it

some are okay, some are pretty, some are ugly. i'd never spend that much money on myself for a bag though...i got a really nice fake one for christmas though haha

I actually like some of them. But they're way too overpriced and I actually perfer the cheaper Juicy Couture, Dooney & Bourke, and Coach bags.

hmm, i don't really care that much, but i bought my sister a real one (so what if it had a slight defect and was only $105!) for christmas and she liked it. it was black with the multicolored symbol things on it. i think it looks alright, though i don't know anything about bags.

When I went to paris, I went into lous vuitton ( thot it was luis voiton at first, im so dumb) and they have a lot of really cute stuff...but then I'm looking and I see a 5,000 $ bikini set. I'm like...okay if I was rich, I would not waste my money on one little bating suit unless it was made of platinum and diamonds or something. BUt the bags? I guess some of them are cute. bUt only the real ones. And its really high quality. Their suitcases are nice too. I persnally like the white ones with the colored print. I think they are fun. But will I be buying one? Hellz naw.

i agree. theyre reele ugly, the only ppl that have them have them to show off how rich they are. lois vuitton is just an ugly overpriced designer. i personally think that coach is a lot better, it isnt so overpriced and their bags are so much cuter. (something i can actually afford)

It's not just about the logo.. it's the design of the bag too. I think some of them are okay, but I wouldn't buy one. If I got one for a present, I would return it, get the cash, and myself an iPod and some darn nice clothes. =)

Ya, that kinda gets on my nerves too...I mean it seems like allt he popular girls, and even the not so popular girls have them...in other words, EVERYONE...it's really weird...I just have a plain brown one by some no name person, lol, I'm lame..I used to want a pretty bag like all the other girls have sept I've kinda gotten over it, I tihnk they look kinda silly now, especially the pink ones with cherries and junk...but it is true that some are really pretty, I donno, I jsut don't tihnk ti's worth the money...I'd rather go out and buy myself another pair of guys shorts from randy river, lol
