im thinking about asking out this girl tomorrow on valentines day....but i dont know how i should do it... if i should just ask her out or if i should bring roses or something...

Yah, you can really ask her whenever (like if shes w/ friends or alone). I would prefer being alone and just all of sudden like the guy asks to talk to me... but I don't think that would matter because she would be happy either way for getting a valentine..
don't do it over the phone or on the internet because you don't get to see her reaction. And make it clear to her that you two are just valentines for one day or are like going out as bf and gf.

i think you should tape a love letter to her locker but sign it as her secret admirer. then after you see that she got the letter, just go up to her with roses or chocolates (or both) and be like "will you be my valentine?"

I think it's natural to be nervous. Just be yourself and don't rush what you are saying. I once asked out a guy and I was so nervous that I said it too fast and he said "what?" and I got more nervous because I had to say it again...ok sorry random story.
