I personally like rock better. Rap nowadays is mostly all about sex, and I bleieve it degrades women. But I don't like all rock, some of it is annoying. in fact, I think I prefer classical music above all

Public Enemy owns all. Don't diss hiphop, especially if you don't know anything about it other than whats on the radio.

For all of you numbskills that think a musical genre is direct correlation with race, keep in mind that rock n' roll was started by black people. As well as blues, jazz, pop, hiphop and any other genre that involves a swinging rhythm with melodious lyrcis.

I love the combination of Rock with Hip Hop such as RUN DMC with AEROSMITH and LINKIN PARK with JAY-Z, but if I had to choose I need something my speakers can blast to so you know rap got the game WRAPPED up.

eh, i listen to lots of different genres of rock (punk, emo, scremo, whatever you want to call it, just as long as you get my point). not rap so much. but everyone is gets to have their own opinion. wether your like rap, rock, or neither, thats okay to me

rock has more feeling involved them rap does...nowadays rap is heading towards the "I have more girls then you" genre or the "I love you but we can be lovers and friends" to me thats just kinda wierd. Rock definitely I would say is my pick because it just makes more sense overall then rap does

Rock all the way, yeah I like some rap, but rock music, it's something that everyone can relate to, if you just listen to the lyrics. Depends what kind of rock, but overall, I like old skool, new school,it's just too whiny, and depressing. You gotta appreciate the old skoll!
