ok fer language arts we need 2 do a persuasive essay first of all WTF IZ IT?!?!?!?!? second what should my topic b on im thinkin bout why should the nissan skyline b brought 2 the US (the teacher sed it had 2 b a question thing) so yea HELP ME OUT!!!

A persuasive essay, aka argumetative essay, is where you write to "persuade", or convince the audience to agree with your views, perhaps support your views...
Some examples are the popular controversies: abortion (prolife v. prochoice), death roll, outsourcing... etc.

a persuasive essay. its what it said. an essay to persuade something, and to get somebody on to you side.
for a topic. think of somethign you like that nobody thinks its fun. then you can defend and argue why that thing you like is fun or w/e. get the idea?

think of something you beleive in..a controvursial issue. maybe check through the debate forum for some ideas. incase you dont know what purswasive (ahh sp. =X) writing is..its trying to convince people about an issue and how you feel about it..include facts also to support your side

ehh, persuasive essay: self-explanitory. you're trying to persuade someone of something, to get them to see your views.
dont forget your thesis statement.

a persuasive essay is where your trying to persudae someone to belive/buy something. here is how I was taught to write one:
Topic paragraph: Should inclue a topic sentence or attention grabber, what your going to write about
2nd paragraph: Name one reason & elbaborate
3rd pragraph: Name another reason & elaborate
4th paragraph: Name one reason & elaborate
Conclusion paragraph: re-state your position/topic
so I hope that helped!!!!
some topics I remember talking about is school uniforms, why one cereal was better than the other, and recess time.

um..start off by thinking abt something you want. like a pet for instance, or raise of allowance yada yada. and then make some good points and reasons of why you want it. get real evidence from magazines, websites, newspaper. blahblah. and then summarize and oraganize ( :
