Tons of Asian gangs in my area. Filipinos vs. Vietnamese has been a problem for a while now.... Not cool.

In my old neighborhood that was a problem..now where i live is is Black vs. Hispanic

idk. gangs are a problem where i live. but i guess you could expect that here.
basically there's "north siders" and "south siders" "nortenos" or "surenos" "red" or "blue" "buster" or "scrap"
however you put it. it's stupid to me. oddly enough i hang out with north siders. i just happened to get along with them and it wasn't until 8th grade that i realized what exactly was going on around me. haha!

My area basically has everyone against everyone. If you're in a gang, people that aren't even in a gang try to beat you up...

In Canada where my cousin lives there are gangs in schools and the school system can't contol them. It is a crazy scene there.

there aren't really too many gangs in my neighbourhood. there is this one group of guys that could be though, we call them 'the skinheads' because there's about 6 white guys, all with their heads shaved and wearing huge, baggy clothing. mostly they just walk around our streets or hang out at the corner store on the end of my street. but i don't really think they do much more than that. there are a few asian and persian gangs in some neighbourhoods around me too.

I actually don't know. Fresh Meadows is generally a safe community and has one of the lowest crime rates in the city..

I see graffiti a lot on fences though.. Does that mean there are gangs?

Yea, there are gangs here. I live in San Diego. >.< Never seen them get into fights tho. I seen them in school and around. I knew people who were in gangs, talked about gangs, or dressed like one.

Pinoy Real (PR) pronounced Pinoy Re-al street gang was founded in the early 1980's in Atwater Village, California. Located 9 miles Northeast of Downtown L.A. Pinoy is a Filipino slang name for a Filipino male. Real used in a Spanish term, pronounced Re"al which means Royal or King. The gang name is abbreviated to PR or PRG (G meaning Gang).

PR members are of predominantly Filipino and Asian descent but also include dedicated Latinos, Blacks and Whites in the gang. Latinos in the Gang associated the abbreviated name to PR13, which represents Southside or SUR which represents their affiliation to Surenos prison gang.

PR do not sport any specific colors or claim Bloods or Crips. PR members are known to sport Pittsburgh Pirates apparel. PR's known criminal activities include home invasion, kidnapping and torture (of rival gang members), extortion, arson, auto theft, robberies, narcotics sales, assault, shootings and numerous unknown homicides.

Atwater (L.A. side) PR has a long history of continued rivalry between Hispanic gangs ToonerVille Rifa (TVR) and Temple St (TST) along with other Filipino gangs. Thee Rascals Gang (TRS) and PR kept mutual respect and shared the same Atwater village torritory. PR and TRS has fought side by side to keep rivals out of Atwater.

Older Atwater clique called "PR Crazies" or PRC was known as one of most ruthless PR cliques, that conducted many violent acts against rival gangs. It has been known that smaller Filipino gangs have clicked up with PR at certain times. With PR’s assistance these smaller Filipino gangs are able to carry out violent attacks against their rival gangs.

Pinay Real or PYR was the female side of PR. No longer active, some have settled down with older PR members.

PR has established many sets through out the years and certain sets are low in concentration and/or activity. Today PR is considered the most hated "Filipino gang" among their Hispanic, Filipino, and Asian gang rivals due to many unpleasant encounters with PR in the past.

Pinoy Real has known sets throughout Southern California and Las Vegas and Philippines. Active sets includes: Atwater Village, Granada Hills, Norwalk, West Covina, Hawthorne, Rancho Cucamonga, Pasadena, Las Vegas, Culver City, Anaheim, Rowland Heights to name a few. Pinoy Real Gang is considered one of the largest and most violent of Filipino gangs in Southern California.

There are a couple of gangs that I know of in NYC: Bloods, Crips, and the JRRyderz the Click. I think the last one is around my area but if so, they haven't caused much trouble.

I live in the safe part of Queens, but when you get to Flushing/Elmhurst/Bayside-Auburndale, there's a lot of Asian gangs.. Jamaica and Astoria have a lot of gangs too..

We do get a lot of tourists though. That reminds me, when I was little, I thought "tourists" really meant for "terrorists" so I was always scared when we were referred as "tourists" whenever we went to a different country/state.

We have the MS 13's around here. I've seen a couple of their symbols/graffiti on our bridges around the city and they're getting bigger.

i live in a pretty nice place, but there's enough jackasses running around to have gotten a few of my friends seriously hurt or killed. it's not all gang activity per say, but some of the personal grudges that some individuals hold against each other here are f**king ridiculous.

i mean, i've gone far enough to poison someone and take them out of regular activity for a couple days - big deal, it's temporary. but it makes me furious when i hear about the people i used to hang out with getting stalked or stuffed in trunks and bullshit.

If you're from Melbourne and hear the word Noble Park, the first thing that'll come to mind is gangs, followed by drugs, murder, theft. It's a pretty bad suburb to be honest..
Anyway back on topic, gangs around here CAN get pretty bad. I don't know any names or anything, but I've heard of a few pretty bad fights, and a stabbing at the local McDonalds a month or so ago. One guy died I think. :S

I live in the biggest hole-of-a-town in New Zealand. To be quite honest I don't see why anyone would want to live here, let alone set up gangs here. But recently we've been having problems with Mongrel Mob (red) and their rivals Black Power (blue) trying to takeover here and recruit members. Most of them are little 14yr old hoodrats that hang around the street corners like homeless idiots. We've already got two motorcyle gang in my town Road Knights and just out of town are their rivals Devils Henchmen. They're pretty quiet though don't really have problems with them. But in general gangs are up to f*ck all. Can't anyone stand on their own two feet these days?

I hate gangs, theyre the ones who make our schools (where i live) have the dress code, and the police at the school all day on watch.
