Anyways, I've been noticing lately that gangs are becoming a big part of my community. Everywhere you go, there's territory claimed by gangs. I myself dont really think its a problem since the majority of my friends belong or ride with gangs, but if it gets outta control, its gonna be a great danger to the city. So far, the most popular gangs in my city are:

Are gangs a problem in your "hood" or city?

Not really. The only gang I know of in Milpitas would be the Scraps.
Then again, I know that fights break out all the time at school because of gang clashes between the Mexicans & Blacks. Not that I hang out with anyone enough to know gang names. Cortez, or something..? O_o

There used to be, but now there like 10 cops surrounding our area lol. 2 years ago, ehh so much dangers because so many gangsters around our area >.<;; they were beating up the elders and stealing their moneys >.<;; also rape little kids while walking back home from school. So there isn't any troubles these days. Only fire accidents and car accidents heh.

But I know there is one gangsta group, which is "THE KOREAN OPPAS" hehe... but they don't do that many harms..... just drink and car race at downtown.

I remember the Rough Riders once hung here in the west side, but aren't they only in Florida now?

those are the only ones i know about in texas. i don't now about other gangs but i don't know if it is a big problem. we probably have more random murders than gang related crimes.

there are bloods and crips in nyc though...i heard that the crips are in canarsie brooklyn...i don't know, i don't follow these stupid gangster things, i just hear about them

Gangs are a problem around my neighborhood because my brother and I are pretty much friends with them.

there arent really gang problems in the area where i live..its more like drug problems...anyways..the worse thing i saw is another skool marking up our skool and having a fight at the mall..thats about it..

in my community there are two major gangs. the CRIPS(sp) and the BLOODS

There isnt much of a gang problem in my community and i dont know much about it. i dont have any experience. Mostly everywhere is safe ..

Nope, there's military police around to solve that problem.

yeah.... there's:

ABT or agat blood town. Mostly from agat. Love red.
DD or double dose. A mix of gangs. They wear white.
BB or bouble bose. A female version.
cripz. From the south south or up north. they wear blue.
Piwi. the young group made of seventh graders in my school. All are females.

Hmm, I'm sure there are some gang here in NYC, but I don't know of any near where I live...

edit: ya there are gangs here, the main ones are the bloods and the crips, ya recently there have been gang related killings and the area of my city that i live in is where the crips' territory is.

im part of a gang. it has a LOT of people in it. we kill people too. .. lol. think about it.

well there are gangs.. but none cause problems

we have a lot of ricers so they would usually race at night, but no one realy gets affected

there arent that many gangs that cause problems or anything you dont really think there would be a gang in cerritos ...but in areas around us there are gangs ..that actually do stuff

Well I dont live in the part of town where there's gangs, but yeah, there are a bunch of gangs in my city....mostly downtown. thats basicaly the hood here.

but there had been so many fights at my school this year, there were like 100 people on the top floor of a building one time. and they called police on the other fight

On our side of town there are no gang problems or anything like that.....on the "North" side of town there are quite a bit tough!! But I have heard of 2 kinds of gangs...the scraps...and the bloods or something like that!!

One of the upsides to living in HICKVILLE Marietta, Oh. No gangs. No anything really. Except for that gang thing, it sucks.

Not so much in my community, but in the communities neighboring me. I've known so many people who died due to gang violence...I can only pray that it'll end, although I doubt it ever will.

Aww..I am so really relieved that my community doesn't have many gangs. But hopefully your community will become friendlier and gang-less sooner or later. =]
