i'm just curious as to whats everyone's favorite 80's songs? mine are Manic Monday, Video killed the radio star, and Material Girl... i love a whole lot more but those are the main ones.. what about you guys? what's your favorite 80 songs? if you have one that is.. this is 80's only. i dont really wanna know your favorite 90's or recent song.. 80's only.. sorry but thats what i'm curious about :) so let the posting begin hehe

I used to like "Boys of Summer" but I hated it after hearing the cover version of it (both from DJ sammy and from this other band).

Tears for Fears is cool! I heard some of their music and they are very good. I just can't remember the names of the songs I've heard from them, though.

That would be the Ataris. Don Henley was definitely the best at that song.

my sister always plays this song that goes "you spin me right round baby right round like a record baby" that i think is from the 80's. it's so terrible that you have to love it.

Thanks! Every time I hear their version it sounded like "the purse is shining in the sun" instead of "Your brown skin shinin' in the sun". It makes me cringe. But I do agree that Don Henley's version is much better.
