I saw this movie back when I was 12, I loved it... oh the good old days. laugh.gif

i_liek_sushi

stephinika
not really...i'm not a fan of really violent or gory movies.
teenprincess
No. Whenever I watch movies like that I'm always scared that someone is trying to kill me.
FLIPxADDICTION
OMG that preview was DISGUSTING! but some parts looked really fake.

i love gory movies! like king arthur and spartacus. im a history channel nerd..i watch those 4 hour long war movies that nobody else does cool.gif
pbear
does the boondock saints count?
if so, yes, but only that movie.

edit: holy. freaking. crap. i CANNOT believe i clicked on that. pinch.gif
KrunkMuzik
Yep! the movie is no good if it doesnt contain some violence!
william
ohh i've heard of ichi, and i'm SO NOT GOING TO CLICK ON THAT! that's the movie where some guy gets err... "de-nippled", right?

anyways, violent movies are fine with me, as long as they're exciting and entertaining (i.e. the matrix). i'm also okay with gore if it's stylized (kill bill), but i do get a little squimish if it's done in a gross way (texas chainsaw massacre).

and on the topic of violent movies, i've been waiting about 8 months to see battle royale, and have been wondering... is the $25 dvd worth it, anyone?
xXirockhardXx
I like scary movies but i hate those "scary" movies that just put a lot of blood scenes and the blood looks fake.
lovescream
Depends on how violent the movie is.
gelionie
Hmm, I don't really like violent movies.
Unless they accurately potray history or something... @@"
it would be okay if there were some violent scenes in epics.

Haha, a girl does. happy.gif Some guy also gets de-penised... but that part hurt me and was just uncalled for.

I wouldn't say the Matrix was violent, well it was violent... but not in terms of blood and gore. But that movie shouldn't have gore, so it's okay. But in the first Matrix, during that Lobby machine gun fight, they should have had blood go all over the walls when the security people got shot, that would be perfect!!

Kill Bill was tyte.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre wasn't that gross, to me... but that movie made me scared of Redneck-ish areas.

yeah, i read the book and it was really good (a little disturbing, but great nonetheless). i was going to order the dvd for halloween, but i never got around to it. i also heard the second movie wasn't as good, and that some of the parts are so bad that it actually makes you laugh instead of making you feel sorry for the kids. i would highly recommend the book if you haven't read it though.
Skyline Drive
Sometimes, it just depends on the movies story line = ]

Thanks, I was planning on picking up the book. I'll buy it if I ever run across it. I heard the book was kinda better than the movie, but I dunno... the movie is a good watch regardless. Don't worry, it's not gory, just bloody.
sweetdreamsx3
I like violence in real life, but in movies..it's okay. I prefer horror movies instead.

Of course I like violent movies.
I mean, good violent movies.
Like some classic Peckinpah - Straw Dogs - violence.
Or some straight up Fulci or Romero gore.
I like some of that good ultra violence.

I like it when people melt.
Or, when heads explode.
Speaking of exploding heads, have you ever seen Scanners?
Hannarr
