create a directory and upload.

[mp3's take about 5 mb, i think]

freepages.com shut down my site after i uploaded one mp3.

UUUHHHM.
Instead of actually going through the process of signing up to a website, http://s2.yousendit.com/ will create a link to where the file can be downloaded from.

ie: i enter in my own e-mail address that the link will be sent to.
i upload the file, then send it, and by the way, it can handle up to 1GB in size.

in my e-mail address, i receive a link to where i can download that file from.
and voila; though, after seven days the file is removed.

Best to use that form, since there's no worries about bandwidth being allotted.
