yeah, theyre not very underground
jordanriane
hahah the shins.

Let me guess, did you decide to listen to them after watching the movie, Garden State?
tweeak
about half their list is from the garden state soundtrack (which i happen to love, but its not underground. i listened to the shins long before i found it)
william
^ same. about a year before. now everyone here looooooves the shins. lame.

the dismemberment plan isn't that underground, but they're definitely enjoyable.
tweeak
really? the people who love the shins that i know is basically contained to the same 5. plus maybe a couple now
william
yeah, a good number of kids (probably about 30 out of 1000?) like them now. which is actually a lot, seeing as most of them listen to rap or mtv2 bands like mcr/tbs/greenday.

k, i'm really obsessed with "crayon" by manitoba. i ordered their cd, along with the blood brothers, the elected, and q and not u. i'm excited.

i got a new computer, so as soon as the internet is hooked up, ill be able to lsten and download again, expecially since we have media center xp, so itll be especially good for music. im happy!!

i was a bit dissapointed in picaresque. its a great cd, but i cant listen to t straight through without getting sick of it

Have you guys heard "Penelope" (Pinback cover) by Saosin yet (performed by Chris and Cove)? At first I hated it, but then I listened to it again two hours later, and I guess you could say I changed my mind.

I still prefer Anthony's vocals over Cove's, even though they are pretty much similar.

I represent the Hip-Hop underground.

Anyone into that?

It's decent, it just really hasn't caught me yet for some odd reason.
As far as vocal's go, I try not to even ponder over the though of Anthony's vocals. He did five [ep] songs, and ended it there. I guess you could say I still resent his decision to quit, and leave the band hanging just when they were at their climax...
