When i'm absent its usually on a random day. My parents arent all too strict about going to school (surprisingly, they bug the f**k outta me on everything else) today I ttried faking sick. My mom felt my forehead and said I had to go to school. I accidentally said shit but she didnt hear me xP. She came back inside my room saying whats wrong, told her I had a headache then I didnt have to go =]

W,ell I haven't been absent from school at all yet.. Well, for this school year, I mean. Fridays and Mondays have more absences only because Friday is they day before the weekend (meaning an early break) while Mondays are the day right after the weekend (meaning another day to snooze, chill at home, or go out). There's plenty of reasons why Mondays and Fridays have the most absences from school.

im rarely absent..i hate being absent because every one of our classes are almost two hours long...so if you miss one class its like missing two classes..and it takes a lot of work to make it up

ya my parents too...well i have this classmate hus always absent on mondays..so we renamed that day to his holiday...the only time i had to stay home was when our internet service was working and the technichin (i think thats how u spell it) came to repair the service...

oh I feel like a terrible person... I never went to school...the only reason I was there was because my friends were there...I had so many abscences...I used to skip 7th period everyday..at the end of my senior year I had accumulated 32 abscences in one semester in one class....good thing no one there really cared. Lord knows I stopped caring~bad dee bad...

I'm absent when I have to be...which varies. It could be that I'm terribly sick, or I have some sort of appointment or examination. It depends.

I'm only absent when I feel like I'm gonna die! If I miss any days, I automatically have to take finals, so this semester I'm going for perfect attendance!

i kind of think thats true because most of the time if someone is going on... lets say a trip...they usually will leave on a thursday afternoon or friday or therefore being absent on friday and usually come back on monday during school so they just dont bother w/ coming at all

also, last week when i was sick, my mama said i didnt have to go to school and that was on friday

ive been sick only once this year and had to stay home for it. and it was on a friday. the thing about that is you can't go out on friday nights...sucks

yeah, the statistic is misleading rofl. whats 100% divided by 5 (as in school days in a week)? ahh 20% of course! i named 2 days and called it 40%! thats 20% a day. lol so i basically didn't say anything. ok the people that responded, haha tricked you. yay even though it makes sense that people would be absent mondays and fridays. shows how easy it is to be mislead. i'm sure some of your thought it was weird though.

I only was absent once. It was for the stupidest reason you could imagine.

Anyway, I'm never really absent. I'm asian. If I get sick, I can only stay home if I'm throwing up or if I have a fever. Other than that, my ass is at school.

My mom never lets me skip school....ever. My mom is veryyyy strict. Once, freshman year, I fainted and threw up three times during school and she wouldn't let me come home. Last Monday, I was really sick and couldn't even get out of bed. When she made me, I threw up and I was so out of it that I couldn't even get dressed. She got mad at me and told me it would be an unexcused absence from school so I got a three-hour Saturday detention. After a few days of constant arguing, she finally wrote a note to get me out of it and grounded me for the weekend instead.

But which day? Thursdays are the best days to miss because you have all weekend to make up all your work

No....... ours is Mondays cause we get out of early... like always. We get out of early on Monday at 1:20pm ALWAYS... so a lot of people think it's okay to skip and not come to school cause they're only gona have a short class hehe.

I don't have a certain day but I've never been absent from school yet this year... otherwise when I have appointments is when I might miss like half a day.

Yes, I think it's true becuase kids are too tired to go to school. They just came back from weekend. Especially fridays, kids cant wait for weekdays to end.
