Okay im working on a essay, and i need some topics to back up why i think lockers are bad.
So far i have:
Vandalism
Increase Crim Rate
Too much money.

Anything else? Thanks.

I think lockers are a great convenience so I won't be much help. In fact, I can argue against all the points that you've listed with ease.

But if you must choose that side, then I guess there are a couple of things to consider, though they may be weak, they can still help you prove your points:

+ It could be hassle when students forget their combination or lose the keys to their lockers. If the locks require keys, the student's belongings can be stolen if another person picks up the key (and know the locker #). If it is a combination, the student will be late to class or may not be able to do homework on time if they do not figure out their combination.

+ Students may transfer dangerous things from backpack to their lockers and keep them there (i.e. weapons, bombs, knives/sharp objects). Lockers could also be unsanitary, and consequently it may be a health hazard, if foods and/or dirty clothes are stored for long periods of time.

That's all I can think of for now.

So, how am I wrong exactly? Before you ask me to think carefully, try to provide a reason why I should even think more on this at all.

So is the problem the locker ROOMS or the lockers themselves?

And I take back what I said to you. I am sorry for jumping to conclusions that what you posted is irrelevant, but I still do not think problems with lockers are the same as problems in the locker rooms.

Then perhaps the topic starter could elaborate on how locker ROOMS can be bad instead of just lockers.

Umm... I think it should be LOCKERS... the ones with a door and you put your stuff in there. NOT LOCKER ROOMS.

- people may lose their keys or forget their combination code and will not be able to access to their locker
- hygiene problem (since people may put sports stuff or food and drinks in their lockers... eww...)
- lockers might be abused to store unnecessary or illegal stuff


... that's all I can think of now.

^ what the heck , wasnt lockers room still means the same as locker ? isnt it the same thing ? Lockers room has locker .. gym room has lockers .. classroom has lockers .. hallway has lockers ..
