the first one is really creative...except i dont really like the colors that you put together...i really like the shading on the second one..the shading of the wrinckles is awesome...i like how emotive the oilpainting is and i think you did a really good job on her shadow...but again, i dont like the colors...they make the painting looks a little dirty...and it would have been cool if you had put more work on painting wrinckles on her dress..

Thank you! Haha.. I wanted the colors to really clash in the first one.. so that's what I did.
The second one is a bit awkward for me.. it didn't turn out as well as I'd like it to.
The third one .. the original was very realistic, but I wanted it to be more impressionist.. so I kinda messed around with colors and styles. lol and actually.. I spent about 2 months on that oil painting...

haha oo do my name (Rachel) or screen name(JUiCY x FREAK 23 (aim))? I love your 6th one.. uve inspired me a lot because i must have drawing and designers block for almost a YEAR. very nice.
the oil painting has left me in awe.....really its very emotional, and I can feel it when i see the painting, i bet its even more emotion instilling in real life, but i can only imagine....now that is a real piece of art....

LOL! That took me about 6 months.. I'd just randomly doodle abstract into the picture until I completely finished. Than washed it out with blue and purple Copic markers.
You have major talent. I love the 1st, 4th, and 6th pictures, the abstracts in the notebook. Those are great!! Of course your other ones are beautiful as well but i really like the sketches.

My favorite is the sixth one. The one where you drew all that stuff, and it's colored in blue and purple.. the blue mixes into a purple.. Yea that's cool :D

Really? I did one pastel, and my teacher was like "Okay, let's do some oil now.." Haha. But seriously, I think oil is A LOT easier than pastel... T.T Pastel is kinda dirty and annoying.. and it takes a great amount of time to do detail. You should ask your teacher to start oil!!!

that's also true. =D pastel is also very cool & gorgeous when it's finished. but i hated gettin my fingers and face and hair all covered in colorful chalk.. T.T

And yea, I'd freak out if i accidently brushed my clothes with oil..and pastel is removable. But it..smells...really really weird.

^ Oh yeah, it does smell pretty funky... but try taking a sniff of that stufff you clean the brushes with.. *phew..* everytime I finish painting.. my head feels like there's a war going on inside.. T.T
