does ne one know how to blend two backrounds together? like for example: a black backround slowly fades into a blue backround?

also does ne one know how to cut a picture from the backround and paste it into another picture?

to make a color fade into another, click on the gradient button. if you dont see it, right-click on the paint bucket and select "gradient tool." Select two colors and drag your mouse (while holding it) over your document.

Depending on the version you have (I think PS 7.o & CS) you go to filter>Extract. It will take you to a window. Use the marker to draw only on the OUTLINE of the pic, then fill it up with bucket over to the side. you can preview or just click or or cancel. biggrin.gif
