compared to like popular animes in japan, pokemon lacks everything it needs to be a good anime.

Yu-gi-oh and Beyblade. GOSH they were annoying.

Anime:

Piano - its message was supposed to carry a dose of "real life" scenarios, but...didn't turn out one bit well.

Fruits Basket - sorry to anyone who does like it (and thats a lot :|), but I couldn't stand an unrealistic perfection as a main character.

Puni Puni Poemy - Unlike Excel Saga, Puni Puni Poemy contains humor that only true otakus who learned everything about Japanaese culture would understand...I couldn't follow the story one bit.

Manga:

Yu-Gi-Oh - The anime really isn't that bad (though the US version trashes it from half-decent to exceedingly terrible), but either sets of manga (Jap. or US) sucked.

yu-gi-oh is annoying.. specially the anime's theme song, i crack up and think of pokemon everytime i hear the yu-gi-oh theme song.

Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi. i watched it and i had no intrest for it for some reason. the animation is UGLY. ugh.

I heard the Japanese version of Sailormoon, titled "Sailorstars" is very good. The ones we get here is kinda weird I agree with you. But I liked the episodes where all the new Sailorscouts come in, but I just hate Serena... that main character... she's so...annoying. It is funny to me that she can't act all princess-like and mature like her friends are. It's funny.

Other animes that I think are the worst:
01. Yu-gi-oh
02. Pokemon

Basically the "little kids" animes I find annoying. The more mature animes are always better.

Kare Kano is good. I have the DVD and I read some of the manga books. I love Kodocha. Your opinion though.



Totally Spies. I watched that since I have Canadian satellite and I live in California. The only reason we have it is becasue of those Chinese shows. My parents and all the adults have to have more Chinese channels so guess what, they took away cable.

Lupin the Third. I have one of the DVD. The drawing IS old. But the plot of it is original, or at least it is to me. But my sister hates it becasue it is drawn so ugly.

Corny, gay, stupid altogether. Horribly corny/overdramatic/terrible plot; stupid characters; overly planned out lines; bad voice actors/actresses; stale music; extremely overdramatic. It's so bad, it shouldn't even be called a manga. It's a big part American too, I think. -shakes head-

Umm Totally spies is not considered anime.... To be exact ANIME the term refers to Japanese animation.. So if you want to talk about totally spies refer it to animation


Other hand The people who say Initial D is boring I disagree. It wasen't made for people who do not like cars. It was made for car lovers and street racers. The drawings are bad because to be exact Initial D started out as a low budget anime and detail the cars the most. If you see cars there is a total difference with the characters.

Ok my opinion on worst anime is Tenchi Muyo~~ Worst anime on earth.. talk about no plot with boringness as a mix. Well thats the worst for me.

yea yu-gi-oh and bey blades are totally stupid but if you say pokemon is stupid to your wrong cause it set a new standard for anime and it might of been one of the first that offered such a variety of characters where you use to battle each other. to me pokemon was a great show. but unfortunatley kids grow up lol .

did you realize if you watch yu-gi-oh they say everything before the do it. like if they are going to unleash a white eyes blue dragon (or whatever it is called) they are like "your master plans have failed i will dominate this game and you will lose" i mean come on why do you have to explain your strategies before you do them.

The japanese version of Yu Gi Oh is actually interesting. English they cut out all the interesting parts.. In Japan Yu Gi Oh is actually bloody and is for 14+ so haha.

Ughhh......first of all, i feel like digimon copied off pokemon, which they both really sucked and annoyed me. Then with yu-gi-oh, what's the whole point of the stupid show? i've never seen the japanese version of it, so i cant say anything about the japanese version. if you ask me, they all suck.

i really like the .hack //legend of the twilight mangas but i think they made the anime wayyyy to babyish -blech!-

The worst are probably Duel Master and--*gag*--Yu Gi Oh. Basically the animes aimed for the younger kiddies, although the first two seasons of Beyblade were OK, but then it went down hill.

Hope you're not talking about King of Bandit: Jing. >_< I actually love the series. Feh, there's always critics. And to all you Poke-mon haters, you gotta admit it's not that bad of a series. How could've Poke-mon be very popular when it was introduced to the world?

The worst anime to me is dotHack. The whole franchise was just...ugly (to put it simply). The whole concept of the show was pretty interesting, if only they didn't want to force the series to become longer and franchising. Sigh...so much potential.
