Hello All,
I am having this slight problem. I've got the code down in my xanga, but now the text is not showing up. I have everything set to where it is BLACK text w/ a white background, but still...no matter what I do...the text will not show up, nor will it show up the as same font as all of the other text on my blog site. Check this out and tell me anything that can help and it will be appreciated. http://www.xanga.com/seezah

thanks!

code please?

This is the code that I put in my Xanga for the layout and all--I edited the color, etc. I think I may have screwed up on something about the text in the blog area, I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

I can't find anything in the code (I'm not that great at codes) but when you highlight the blog area on your Xanga, you can see what's written there. I didn't know if you saw that or not. So at least the text is there, even if it is the wrong color. Did you try to change it in the normal xanga look and feel? It could also be where your code says:

line-height:10px;
color:black;
letter-spacing:0px;
text-align:justify;

Try changing the "black" to 000000.

Yeah, I knew that...I just need it to be black...and arial. But for some really odd reason it's not showing up. I have it set on the Look & Feel settings to be black and everything is set right on there but there is something...I don't know what it is.

maybe because your coding is inconsistent..that's the only thing i can think of. for everything else you used hex codes but for the main text color, you said 'black'.
captainobvious
Well, I changed it to hex code and it still is showing up like that...hmm...thanks for sticking with me though...sorry I need all of this help..haha.

try that. i edited it.

nevermind...I fixed it! I figured out what it was! It was a code in my website stats that was canceling out the color code in my header! YES! got it! Thanks guys! I guess the topic is closed!
