I was reading through the replies in the relationship forum about what to get for your loved ones. Anyway, just wondering, but would you guys actually appreciate "Fill a bottle with origami stars with, " i love you [ insert name here ] " written on each strip."
I went through all the replies and found only two that I was interested in. One included Christina's idea of origigami stars with hearts and the other was Kiss me something..I think her name is Katie? about the photo album and gathering pictures...*shrugs*
Anyway, yeah. :]

Those 2 ideas sound cute. (i have only read like one page) Although, I don't have to worry about that this time around...=(
I am really picky about what I get a guy. I wouldn't give him a bottle w/ origami stars, just because i like to give nice gifts to show my appreciation. And i don't want him to think i'm stupid and cheap!

I would want origami stars.

That's not stupid and cheap. Little things might seem stupid and cheap, but people take alot of time making those stuff. I would be happy if I get a jar full of orgami stars because someone is dedicating their time just to make you something.

So you're going to buy him a card, sign your name, and "this is how much time I would spend on you."

If i really loved that boy out there, i would make stars & write 'i love you' on every single strip. If he's really worth it.

Nooo, I'm ceratinly not saying they are stupid and cheap...I would love to get something like that!! But I always feel so insecure about getting guys gifts...like they'll think I'm weird for getting/making them something like that.

No, again I just want him to know how much I care about him and I'm always afraid of what he'll think about my gift...what I'm trying to say is I just want him to know how much I love him, without him thinking my gift is silly

What kind of bf is that. Caring about your gifts. I guess it's not always just the thought that counts. Its gotta be more.

Wow I never even thought about that. Hmm since my friend, Saejoo is good at those origami stars, I should tell her to try to do that. Maybe next time she'll find the person she really likes and I can tell her try and do that. Sounds interesting and neat! Thanks for sharing :D Hmm I haven't read the topic, but since I'll be going to the relationship forum, I guess I'll be reading it!

i did that! i gave it to my girlfriend =]. i used the straw stars though and i didn't write i love you because straws look cooler and take more effort and look gangstur =]. its not cheap either bc...ok it is cheap but the time it takes negates the cheapness xP
- Edit -
if people don't know what it is i'll post a picture of them

i wouldnt necessarily want to get that, but i would appreciate it.
and to give it to my boyfriend if i ever get one (x.x) it would probably take me a hell of a long time to actually learn how to make those stars.

I wouldn't mind doing something like that for a guy I liked. I mean, if you're really dedicated to make those. Hhahahand the patience too. Actaully.....I did do that before, and placed all the stars into this other origami china star ball instead of a jar. He carried the origami china ball with the stars in it to school everyday till summer.

...and was basically hugging it too.
Wouldn't mind making those stars again...but I don't have a bf or a crush and I wouldn't be here for Valentine's Day since I would be in Asia during Feburary. bleh...

Even though thats a cute idea, I wouldn't make that many, because I'd lose them all. I make them at school though and just give this guy I used to like, but it's only to make him feel bad because he sucks at making them.
