I personally thought it was horrible.
just by looking at the pictures, but when i got bored and dled like 10 episodes..
i got hooked..
now i think its a great anime and if you think it sucks, just try watching it to like 30..
its fantabulous.

one piece subbed rocks, but the theme song is so annoying. and i don't think the art is horrible, cept for the fact that the main characters don't look their age.

don't watch the anime, by the time i wanted to watch it, it got licensed! =.=;;; but i read the manga, it's one of my fave.

Wait now I'm watching it on Cartoon Network. Luffy? 12/13? He seems 14, Nami seems 17, Zoro seems 19. I'm continue to think that, especially since it doesn't even say the ages of the characters in the anime. I've been watching the japanese fansubbed anime of One Piece, but it only goes up to 24...

Agreed, the voices are pretty.. badddd... Although, I noticed that the dubbed version has VERY similar translations as the subbed ones. But the subbed ones have the curse words..

^ I guess you'd have to read some of the manga first to really like it. It's one of those mangas that when you read it, it gest addictive and you want to know what happens. Same goes for the anime. :P

hm.. one peice. when i first started reading the manga i thought luffy was a lamer version of Goku from DB. I still think so. I guess it's cuz i haven't reached episode 10 (whatever the equivalent is in the manga). Actually I don't really plan on getting that far. Buying mangas unfortunately isn't part of my budget plan anymore...

one piece is a good anime and my cousin is really addicted to it and there is a one piece game coming out for PS2

i dont really like one piece that much because the animation isnt that good, and the voices dont really fit witht the characters' looks, you know? There are a lot of flashbacks which are kinda cute, but ehhh. the only person that's cool is Zolo or Zoro. he fights with 3 swords.

ONE PIECE is gooood. Unfortunately it's licensed and they screwed it up like every other licensed anime. But you can still get it on fansubs if you look. Personally I think it's way funnier and more original than Naruto. Naruto is the kind of anime that you get really into at first then everything just seems like it's been done. One Piece is kinda slower to start but man...it's worth the wait.
