Do we stop growing once we hit puberty? My friend told me that since I have my period now, that I will no longer grow. Is this true?

i m freakin worried too. but i heard from mah aunt that da 1st year we had it.. we will shoot. but i duno. i had it for a year and i still grew like a few cm.. not sure. but i guess dun worry and take it easy..

No you don't stop growing when you get your period. If that had happened I would barely be 5'0. . People usually stop growing when they get in their late teens. I know of peopole in high school who were 5'3 freshmen year and by senior year they were 6'1. That happened to my boyfriend, major growth spurt huh? So don't worry, you will still grow.

no u grow MORE when u hit puberty. i heard when ur like 20 or something, u stop growing but i may be wrong

women/girls stop growing around 18.. sometimes younger and sometimes older.. once i hit puberty i grew alot.. im only 5'7 maybe 5'8 but i still have alot more to grow.. my mom is 6'1 and my real dad is 6'4

once you hit puberty, you're still growing. if you stop right away, then you'll be a midget.

i think you stop growing around the age of 18.when you go thru puberty,you grow more.

i think you stop after two years you get it .
