I was doing one of my girlfriend's hair and when i was brushing her hair, i saw this bump on her head. it looks like a pimple, but im not sure. i asked her about it and she said she gets some alot. what does this mean? do you gals get them too?

yes.. it's actually quite common to get pimples in your hair around your hairline. this varies with different people.. sometimes it can be rare and sometimes not.

Yeah, you probably mistaken that for a pimple, but it's most likely an ingrown hair. I get those sometimes, and usually they look like pimples....but they aren't really. They'll eventually go away!

its probably an ingrown hair, it happens a lot. It could also be a small pimple because she didn't wash all her hair products out or something. its quite natural

i've gotten em once or twice. if you pop em they either bleed or gush oil hehe i know it's gross but they were so itchy... but it's normal so dont worry about your friend.

they pop up here and there... very inconvenient little gremlins... why cant we all just be flawless..

i dont get pimples like on the like TOP of my head, just around my hairline. my mom says its cuz of my hairspray, cuz when i take a shower all the hairspray goes on my face and makes me break out. at least thats what her explanation is.

is it actually on the top of her head or around the hairline? pulling the hair tight into ponytails causes bumps also
