inthemudhole
Nahhhh.
I used to kind of want to design some stuff that I personally like.. but then ehhh.
Nicolatofu
i have thought about it...because i love designing stuff and i really enjoy clothes/purses/shoes whatever...but i see myself as a pharmacist!
sharerol
No, I don't really see myself as a fashion designer.

I want to go into fashion, but I don't want to be a designer. I want to be involved in the business behind it

i want to but i don't think it is my true dream, i am not even trying right now
emptyminded
I thought about it but, if I don't become successful with my other careers I'd like to do that. Or as I see it- if it's possible I'd like to design on the side with my career as a weekday thing.

I like fashion, but I don't want to be a fashion designer. I'm not that creative. _dry.gif

i definitely dont have the creativity to design high fashion, but i'd love to be a magazine editor, or a buyer for a huge department store so i can be around it all the time!
mizz_mithy
i don't really want to be cause it's a miss or hit thing. like all these people wanna go into fashion but only a hand full get in. also it's too hard keeping up with what's in and what's out. so no not really.

I'm still thinking about it. at first it was the one thing that I wanted, but now I keep questioning it.

I HAVE made a few EASY articles of clothing with my aunt. My aunt and my grandmother are not exactly "fashion design" but they like doing bridal and communion dresses. They also like to make costumes and things like that.

Like my grandother made my mom's wedding dress and its beautiful! And she made my baptismal and communion dress. (But obviously, I like my mom's wedding dress more)

So if I do go into fashion design, I'd probably go to them for the basics, recomendations to fabric stores, or whatever other help I need.

i know friends who are better then me at it
since they have much more taste of it.
but it would be cool

i definitely wouldnt mind being a fashion designer. haha

it's more difficult than it seems, people. fashion designing requires a lot more than a passion for shopping or clothes. it requires business skills, connections, leadership, persuasion, and the ability to interest the public. most fashion designers work to meet what society wants; it's not like society will just start worshipping your fashion line if you create whatever you want.

First I'd want to be a lawyer... model... and then a fashion designer.

njgurl412
before i wanted to be a fashion designer and my friends are like you soo should be a fashion designer cause i know what in and out of fashion.. but now i want to be a lawyer with the best fashion clothes in the court room.

I've always deep down wanted to be a fashion designer, cuz I'm really good at drawing and creating clothing designs. I've actually costumed an entire high school musical before. But now I want to be a singer and actress, so I figure with all that money I'll be able to do the fashion design thing in the long run.

Haha I remember. We were going to have our own fashion company: T & C Inc. I believe. Hahah...good times.

Anyways, no I don't want to be one anymore. I think it's a bit unrealistic for me. I've decided I want to be a teacher. Kindegarten & 1st grade to be exact. But yeah, I'm not nearly creative enough to be a fashion designer.
