I just read "Pastwatch (line break) the Redemption of Christopher Columbus". Interesting book. Very... yeah. Interesting.

Has anyone read it? I'm thinking mainly about how them changing the past caused such a great change in the future. And about their debate whether changing the past would make them cease to exist at all.

If you haven't read it, you can discuss it anyway, mainly about the contradicting things that can happen if we "change" the past.

Just wondering about your views.

i heard about it.

but think of this. if you can change the past, it was ment to have changed, because if it didn't you would have never changed it.

yeah... time is confusing.

my excuse for staying up late. :-)

If we change the past...it would affect the future. How we would change the past is another story lol

But little things in our lives cause a chain reaction of events in our lives to take place.
Examples! Ashlee Simpson, what if we changed the past and she never screwed up on SNL? What if 911 never happened? What if we changed the past about the tsunami and never made it happen? What if you weren't born and never thought up this topic? lol.

Changing the past, whether big or small of an event, would change the course of the future. The things you say or do everyday, can affect someone for the rest of their life. If you killed someone today, it would affect your life and the person's families life.....and what if you did not kill that someone today. Your life and that persons life and their family would go down a totally different path.
Changing the past, would definitely affect the future in some way, shape, or form.

Changing the past... is still the past. If you think about changing the past, I think you've already changed it because it is the past, no?
