Yea but they don't have WinFS so that's gonna be a bummer. They wasted too much time with SP2 in my opinion. Not that SP2 is a bad thing, but WinFS would have been nice.

if i know microsoft: this is too early.
they'll release it, and then they'll find tons and tons of bugs, and people with longhorn will pay extra money to fix the problem left my microsoft.
the day microsoft makes something that doesn't suck is the day they start making vacuums.

is it me, or do they get progessivley worse?
so that 2 more versions later all you can do with your computer is view pictures, surf the web, play music and movies, and type some things in the cheapest thing (word pad)

long horn is a code name.
there are a series of mountains (ski ones) and such in real life
and the code name for windows XP was one,
Longhorn is the name of a restraunt that's between the two mountains,
and then i guess the next will be the next mountain.
i read it in pc world or something a long time ago
yea, here's an article on it

longhorn looks pretty cool. knowing my luck, someone is gonna come up to me and say "hey have a copy of windows longhorn" so i dont really have to save money for it.. i only need to save money for more ram and a better processor.
