iPods rule! My friends had them and I used to think you could only put songs on them from iTunes so I was really bummed... then pple started telling me otherwise and had to get one!

I only saw one person have it. And no, I don't have one myself. I wished the First Generation iPODS didn't discontinue. those look so much better than the mini's.

yeah, but i think they're generation four. i don't know why you would rather have generation one over generation four though (i have a generation one and i tried four at the apple store, and the four is a lot better).

eh, i dont know that much about ipods to know the difference between generations. and i knew they were making gen 4 now, but her whole complaint was about the look of the minis

yeah, the difference between the generations is generation one had the four buttons around the scroll wheel, while two and three had the four buttons below the screen but above the wheel. generation four has the buttons on the wheel like the mini. also, each generation got progressively smaller.

I don't have an iPod, nor do I want one. I own an iriver IFP-799. I like it better than iPod, but iPods are very good too.

Uh, where I live, not really. Actually it's rare to find some one with an iPod here. They're not into MP3 players. More like cell phones.

I have a nice blue one But they aren't all that great. I mean it's nice to hold all those songs in one lil thing or whatever. But the problem is taking the time and finding all those songs and downloading them all on there. But i mean it's nice

Yess I see the Ipods alot, especially when I go to NY. I was goin to get one but too many people have one.

the majority of my school has one. i don't and i dont plan on getting one and if i do get one then i guess it's like a surprise cos i'd rather spend my money on anime and mangas or something.

Uh... not really. Here in Seattle, not many carry ipod. I always see my sister carry it everywhere she goes. But like other people, none of them carry it neither all my friends. What's the point of having it when you don't even carry it outside. Eh...

It's not that popular here in seattle. but cd player are very popular here in seattle. you will see lots of students using cd players instead of an ipod. omg there are soooooooooooooooooooooooooo many people carring cd players these days hehe.

I work at blockbuster so I see people come in all the time with them. Its really funny, cuz its almost like they have it just so people know they have it. I have one, but I didnt buy it, its was free. Its a shuffle. and I rarely use it.

I used to have an ipod, I gave it to my cousin for his birthday. He really deserved it. Heck I was hardly using it anyway.

Having an iPod mini makes you self contradicting. The whole point is to have all your music on a small device. If you don't want that much space, stick with the CD player or a 512MB player.

I'm one of few that used 18 out of 20GB on my iPod and needed to clean out, except the software went crazy on me and it just stopped working. BLAH!

So reinstall it.

I'm not stupid, I tried all that crap already. I tried it on three other computers and it didn't work, and I wasn't about to send it back to the idiots that made it. So I sold it broken to this site that buys broken iPods.

If it's a software glitch, all you have to do is run the update utility to reformat/reinstall the software.

I reformatted, lost everything. When I ran it again, it froze up my computer or just couldn't read my iPod. I've tried everything on that damn site. NOTHING worked.

The only thing I like on the ipod is that it has a color screen, which, as far as I know, is fairly original among MP3 players.

But Ive posted in countless threads how I want a Zen Vision. An extra 100bucks, an extra 10 gigs (Not as much as the 60 gig, I know, but I dont need that much space) and i can put my eps of Red Vs Blue or any other show I want and still have room for all 130 some of my CDs.
