if you highlight it you get just the picture with jake & the first entry....but the rest is a repeat of the bottom of the pic

that's a background. You can do a background-repeat.

yes, to get that exact same repeat, you do a vertical background repeat. there are also choices like horizontal, all directions, etc. that option is all the way near the bottom in your xanga look and feel.
