The bloodiest series I ever saw was Gantz.

This movie. Bleh. I screamed when that guy shot the dude.. and bloog came squirtying out like mad!
And Kill Bill, if you count the anime part. Kill Bill is a bloody movie.. and it has sort of anime in like.. one part.

samurai X. movie #1. i loved it tho. i finally saw kenshin kill someone.

i dunno, because i never seen a really gorey anime thats so bloody it would make me think theres too much blood [which will never happen ]

my friend says berserk is like graphic and bloody and dramatic with sex, religion and random killing i guess lolz

this movie called Kite... its weird... she has these specialized bullets that explode and the intro they show her shooting this dude in the elevator and his head just fricken explodes.... right in the beggining... and yeah... very intresting show.. and yeah samuri x when kenshin is a manslayer... its sweet... watching him kill....

Hellsing had a lot of blood! (^__^) Other than that, it's just the random zombie movies I watch! Ahahaha!

Elfen Lied. No contest. I've only seen the first episode, but I'v never seen so many decapitations at once. It seems like 30 people are pulled apart in the first 10 minutes.
Besides Elfen Lied, the only bloody animes I've seen are some anime movie called "A Wind Called Amnesia" or something like it and Kino's Journey which really isn't that bloody. I thought that Kino's Journey was bloody before I saw Elfen Lied. It's more like kittens and rainbows compared to that now.

If its a series then I'd say Hellsing. It has a hell of alot of blood. Alucard kicks soo much ass!

Elfen Lied and Bastard and akira were one of the most bloodiest animes I've seen. Especially in Akira where the guy kills all those soldiers in the hall and like the organs are dripping off the wall and stuff..

You know since i just saw Elfen Lied i'd say that too is a pretty bloody anime O__O

this isnt THE bloodiest i know, But the unedited original Full Metal Alchamist is pretty gory actually. i just mentioned it because it came as a surprise to me.

Never saw the movie, but I once saw an AMV of Samurai X, and that mess was CRAZY, cutting people in half and such. Damn.

Elfen Lied. Hooray for endless decapitations! I want the theme song.
Nothing is graphic compared to Elfen but elsewise the other graphic stuff if seen... Princess Mononoke, some anime (it had the word shoot in it) focused on wrestling- lots of blood broken fingers a guy got stabbed it the eye and a broken arm, and Grave of the Fireflies (it isn't too violent though). Cant think of anything else.

i am gonna go with Sin City and Samurai X. Two very bloody series or movies, but they were great.

Well this aint an anime, but well its just weird... Battle Royale, Its a Japanese movie. There are manga books out of this..... just wow.... watched it once and i was like wtf, The Manga is more detailed with the gore and such.... then theres BR2 ... which is even more .... yeah... thing that bugged me the most, was the collars they wore, if they went to a "forbidden" zone it exploded and well... their neck explodes and yeah...

That was pretty graphic.. I still don't fully understand Evangelion Neon Genesis... oh well haha.

As for manga, Nausicaa was pretty graphic. I remember skimming through one of the graphic novels and wow I was so confused lol but I kept seeing a lot of fighting and blood.. and yea... :P

Akira is really graphic. I don't know about the manga, but the anime was. The manga is probably 10x more graphic/bloody because the artist can spend more time on each drawing, making each scene better than the last. Anime is usually more simplified, compared to manga. Wow the ending.. was kinda.. freaky. o__O

The end of Princess Mononoke was pretty extreme, imo.
