SAILOR MOON Swear I was obssessed with that show ever since I was 6. Used to come home right after school, watch Bananas in Pajamas cause that was always on first, then watch Sailor moon. I don't really know anyone who grew up not watching Sailormoon. Even the boys did. Well they mostly watched Dragonball Z, but still. I was also a Dragonball Z freak too, even though I was a girl.

If Sailor Moon was still on I swear I'd still be watching it. Too bad they cut it off after Super S. I guess they just couldn't handle dudes turning into chicks and more nakedness. The whole cousin thing between Haruka and Michiru was kind of freaky though -- they're lesbians, duh!

AND then there was pokemon, my second anime pokemon gave me a boost in anime. Around that time i discovered that it was called anime and knew all sorts of cool things about it when i was 6. YES THE 90's were great years

my first was peach girl i read it when i was 9! lol my friend let m read it bc she stole it from her sister and told me to read it. but peach girl i don't like my favorite anime in the whole intire world is KODOCHA! hehhe

My first was sailormoon which i saw when i was a baby. Got hooked on pokemon when i was 6, went though retro, and classic manga( like Marmalade Boy, Utena, Kodocha etc.)when i was 11,12 or so. and now im 14 i like clamp titles, upsest with Yukiru Sugisaki-san(creater of D.N Angel, Lagoon Engine, Rizelmine etc.)and i like any other dramatic titles that make u cry laugh, and make u have goosebumps. Im waiting 4 episode like full metal alchemist now----

wow.. I think it was G-force/Gatchaman. I forgot what channel I watched it, but I'm pretty sure it was on cartoon network. I also watched Speed Racer too. I remember staying up till like 10/11 (pretty late for a -year-old) just to watch it. I wasn't into the whole Dragonball eps like my cousins.

Then there was Sailormoon. Ah..yes. My beloved.

My very first anime was Cardcaptor Sakura! It's sooo cute. I still read the books today. I'm currently reading Mars right now though. . . .

I could still recall the first kind of anime I watched was Akazukin ChaCha back in the 4th grade premiered locally in Cartoon Network.

Then some of the more serious anime I watched was Gundamwing, Tenchi Muyo, Saber mattionettes( all in the local language which was Filipino).

I remember the first full length Anime movie I watched was Akira

That was still back when anime was still slightly obscure
most of the early ones where dubbed in the local language ( filipino)

I remember a few years later when we watched anime in the local networks
we get to watch such fares as Yu Yu kakusho ( under the name as Ghostfighter),
Lupin 3, Flame of Recca, DBZ

presently we have loads of channels with anime even a whole channel devoted to it.

My first anime was Sailor Moon. I was obsessed with it. When it aired on TV, I'd put on a blue skirt when I got the chance (because my favorite was Sailor Mercury) and I'd dance along with the theme song. I miss that.

I just got hooked up on Manga when I read the Zodiac P.I. and Pita-Ten series. After that, it was Saiyuki, Gravitation, and etc. lol.

Haha... first Anime? That has to be Digimon. Nothing else, baby! I've Loved Digimon for forever... but can't watch anymore due to fox kids not being anything anymore. wah. That was years ago. My first manga was MARS. I remember that. My current favorite is Naruto! I hope the dub is good. Shopro's sposed ta be good at dubbing. They're not allowing Cartoon Network to touch it either, so I've heard, until they're done with the dubbing. Then Cartoon Network gets to air it on Toonami. Grr... I wish I had cable or Sattelite... or something more than the twenty (20) channels I get.

haha! I know what you mean! damn, when I first got into DBZ I bought as many cards as I could. I probably spent about $200 (if not more) on just collector's cards. They're not even worth the amount I bought them for. (Imagine the amount I spent on Sailormoon...) That sucks.
