use a sweater and tie it around your waist or my friend changed into her gym pants at school one time...everybody goes thru that it isnt a huge deal.

Mar 20 2004, 11:13 PM
1]wrap a sweater around
2]go to nurse's office, ask for hydrogen peroxide.
3]go to the private bathroomin the nurse's office, tkae off ur pants, and soak the red area in hydrogen peroxide, gently scrub until red starts turning lighter, rinse with water once in a while to get the redness out
4] dry with towel.
5] tell everyone that you sat on the wet bench. or something lame like that...

or...
tell a sensitive and gurlee, shy kinda guy frend (like hyesung from shinhwa for example) and tell him ur problem and fake cry. then, get his pants and tell him to where his PE shorts. WAHLAH just dont leak on his pants.

Well anyhow, you could just get your sweatpants in P.E. and also, bring like an extra pad at all times, or a tampon. I suggest 2. Bring like one regular one, if you were wearing a regular one, and then bring like one of those maxi ones lol. Only one time it was really heavy. THat was hell for me O_o" Man and it lasted 2 weeks lol. >_<" I wore dark, sometimes black, pants everyday, so it wasn't that noticeable. If you don't know when you're leaking, just ask your friend to check your pants and walk in front of them. And your friend will take a quick, unnoticeable glance at your butt and then walk up and catch up with you. Then ask her if there was anything leakage. That's what me and my friends do, or rather, DID.

HAHHAA just_dream!! ahahah my frends and i do that all the time!!!

so funny... just make shure you never ask a GUY to do that or they might possibly be too tranced at staring at ur butt to catch up to you...

i suggest to always have a pad on ur underwear if you start having a discharge (like the one beofre ur period...) cause it might be a sign of you having ur period soon...

Thanks for the advice. I usually wrap something around my waist. However, my first day is always pretty light, so I have advance notice. Just make sure to carry a pad or tampon in your backpack.

it's worse when you're wearing a skirt or something where everyone's looking at it
and they dont just hang out hydrogen peroxide like that. they're required to ask what it's for, and record who they gave it to. hydrogen peroxide is a colorless liquid with a slightly sharp odor. it's flammable and very fatal when swallowed - so they'll want you to use it in the office.

Well, not exactly IN the shower. I got it when I stepped IN the shower. lol Yeap, sometimes my leaks go crazy too. But that was only in the beginning like when it was my first time. lol But after a while, it calms down. lol Oh and the "Overnight Protection" one helps too cause it's REALLY long and it holds a lot. I even use it in the day time just to be safe. lol

I can tell when I'm going to get mine because I get one huge zit, so I'm always prepared. When you think your time is nearing carry around extra pads or tampons (which ever you like best) and wear dark pants or skirts! I have to wear a tan skirt to school so I wear navy blue shorts on underneath. I very rarely have a problem with mine.

sorry about the earlier reply thing, it messed up. anyway, LiL_Cloud, you are soooo lucky. mine are soooo heavy it's not even funny. it's sooo gross. bleh. like, last week at school, mine was so heavy i had to change into like 2 different pairs of pants like everyday. it was horrible. i was soooo embarassed. but i don't think too many people noticed.
eh i'm just rambling on. but yeah, always wear a sweater or a jacket to cover it up. you'll feel so much better.

mine's leaked twice.. but VERY VERY LIGHTLY.. the first one was when i was wearing black pants, so no one noticed.. and the second was this really small dot. haha xD like a period.. but anyways.. i've let my friend use my sweater/jackets to tie around her waist when it happens. you could either do that or make your backpack go very lowww :D

Why would the pad slip out? It has a sticky bottom so it sticks to the underwear. And my mother told me to avoid tight pants cuz it's bad for that "area" which I'm not sure why...but I avoid tight pants. I usually go for loose ones or sweatpants.
And I've never had a leak, only some were VERY close to being a leak. But just wear a sweater or a jacket around your waist. Usually, my friends (girls) always check on each other if someone asks. Cuz...girls know what to look for..lolz.

i say that on days that u have ur period, u should wear dark pants (black recommended) so that in case u do have a leak...at least no one will be able to see it..
but u should also normally change ur pad often...

Apr 27 2004, 09:24 PM
change ur pad often, but i always have a set of clothes in my locker in case i spill something on myself (ALWAYS HAPPENS!) or i 'leak' lol. either that, or i'd go bum some pants of one of my guy friends and tell them to find more clothes for themselves
