I guess this can be the official thread of DDR. Talk about anything here, what system(s) you play on, what mat(s) you own, arcade, skill level, etc.

Personally i own a PS2 //edit//with DDRMAX2// with some crappy 15 dollar gamestop mats (after a week i can tell they're getting bad.) i can pass 7footers with Cs or Bs, pass 6 footers with As or AAs, and can barely pull by 8footers. but thats about it. I'm thinking about making my own metal pad though; hopefully this'll improve my scores o_o''.

yah..i dont have ..cuz i only have gamecube..and they havent made it for that yet..but im effing amazing at it..i love the hardest one max 300..i can do that and get a AAA on it..lol

I LOVE DDR! but i ROCK at the controller. on the real dance pad, i cant dance for beans.

anyway i heard they were coming out for DDR on gamecube soon. mid2005, with mario and stuff. its on the front page of www.ddrfreak.com

i used to play ddr when it first became popular...but it's ehh to me know, people who are like real pro's that do it really fast scare me

i'm okay but my friend is amazing he can do heavy ones on my ps2 while holding the "on the go" cambels soup things and not spill.

I used to be quite good.. kindof. But now, I don't play as much. I used to play heavy all the time.. but now DDR is starting to bore me.

um i have a ps2 with like two old ddr ones that i never play. the newest one i got is the ddrmax one. thats all its called. i dont really play on mat but if i am i'd be on standard/intermediate mode. but on the controls. i can go really heavy. lol its great fun.

I used to have a ddr mat, but it got wringled up so it broke >.<;; I don't know what happen to it. I think my dad threw it away or maybe he put it downstairs in the basement? Anyways ... I have playstation 2 and playstation. so i have ddr max, ddr 1, ddr 2.

I LOVE PLAYING DDR!

I'm not that good though, I can only use Light and some Standard...but it get's me so hype with all it flashing lights and colors, Japanese Dance Techno music. I sweat though, it's gonna give me A.D.D. one day...lol!

It's best to play at the arcade though...the little plastic mats kinda suck...grrr.

Yeah, ddr is old. I've had it since like, 3years ago..
so my mat is all ripped and stuff =/ and i hardly play..
but it's so stupid cause like, EVERYONE has it now.. and they're all " omgaw! i can do heavy!! envy me! "

I have it for PS2, but basically i suck at it. lol. if i practice alot and dance alot, sure i was getting really good when i first got it, but now...egh...hehe

No. I use to play that alot like a pro until I found out I needed a life. But really I use to love that game but now theres this new Donkey Konga game and it kicks ass!.

I remember when I used to suck at DDR; i had no coordination at all. Then i got it and played it for 3 hours a day for a week and now i'm pretty good at it.
Its too bad though, I don't have any arcades near me where I can play. These songs are getting boring.

Oh god... DDR is getting so old and boring now. There was a time where I was obsessed with it. Now it's buried away in my basement somewhere. The highest I ever got to was an A on a heavy song. Then I gave up. It's not so fun after having it for 3+ years...

ermmm yeah i have crappy mats too..they're messed up now..like i wasn't even standing on it and it rotated through the songs..lol. i have ddrmax2 and i play on light only cause i just got it for christmas. but it's really an improvement because i used to play at my friend's house and i got e's on light and now i can get double a's..yay!

I have own at home but I never really played at it.. but it's cool once a time but it kills me and I'm not that good at it.

aha ddr!!! omg.. im sooo addicted to it. i luv going out and playing but its soo annoying wen u watch someone aceing a 10 foot song wen u can barely ace a 5 foot song. those ppl make u look so bad! ><
aha thats y i borowed my cousins plastic mat and play at home where no one can c u. but plastic mats suck like shiet. i wana buy one for xbox but its not out yet .. i fink. i asked the guy at ea games and his like comes out in feb (04) i came bak in feb then his like in april! im like and its stil not out! grrr

i have played it on the real arcade game and i have also played it on PS2. it is really fun but really challenging! the first time i played it i almost fell! but i have fun with it.
