yeah there is a difference, Punk is something like The Casualties, Rancid . And Rock is like The Darkness (gay,imo haha) Aerosmith, etc. Try compare those bands, and im pretty sure you will get the idea of whats punk and whats rock

I voted for Blink, but only because I love their old stuff...I don't like them as much anymore . I like a lot of the bands mentioned here...AFI, Nirvana, Story of the Year, The Distillers, Kittie, Slipknot, Cradle of Filth, NOFX, some Rancid, Shadows Fall, Killswitch Engage, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, Otep, Lamb of God, etc...I like going to a lot of local concerts, too...
