I LOOOOOOVE this album. One of the best R&B albums in a long time. See, the problem with a lot of R&B artists these days is they're trying too hard to follow the "trend" and make a transition into hip-hop. The songs lyrics don't mean anything anymore, there isn't much emotion in their voices, or they just plain old can't sing that well.
John Legend is like a breath of fresh air. He's soulful, sexy, and his singing is emotive.
My fave tracks?
Ordinary People
I Can Change

Yo, wassup everyone? I already made a thread about this previously but this is a fresh one because the album came out this week. I think any FAN OF GOOD MUSIC should go cop this album. It's straight up amazing. Best album of the year (and I'ma hip hopper). He's an R&B singer and is gettin' major acclaim for this album and I'll say this is the greatest R&B album I've heard in my life and is the best album this year easily.

It's in stores...

Has anyone heard of the R&B singer John Legend? I got his album on Monday and it is such an amazing album. The lyrics are something we can all relate to and his voice is so nice. Anyone get the album? Its "Get Lifted". I definitely recommend it. If Alicia Keys was a dude, John Legend would be it.

I hope he does because he definitely deserves it. A lot of people just haven't heard much of him because if more people knew, they would be hooked.
