yea, its hard for me too, but even without eyeliner, it looks like the top is lined so I don't really have to. (or want to)

Tips:
Start out with only applying eyeliner to the corners of your eyes. Soon you'll get the hang of keeping your hand straight enough to run it all the way across your eye. =)

well like if you're talking about the top like on your eyelid where you put a fine line, it helps to clse that eye, and i guess stretch it out, so that it's easier to make the line...ok that didn't make any sense at all..

liquid eyeliner is messy at first, but once you get the hang of it, it goes on pretty smooth. as for the top lid problem, i just kind of.. stretch my eyelid out sort of if that makes sense so it'll go on even..er..
ack i don't make sense.

why don't you just do the bottom for now until you get the hang of it and then do the top?? Or, just get your mom or one of your girls to do it for you.

This is what i do. I stretch my eye out & put it on. Start from the inside working your way out. At first when i started putting on makeup, i didn't know how to do it. So i asked my mom everyday to put it for me 'til i got the hang on it. Maybe you should try that from now on & practice on your own time.

lol im bad at doing eyeliner, so i ask my sister to do it for me... i have to say this to you jenny. but you suck at it lol.. but thanks for trying hahaha.
Anyways. I tried to close my eyes, but it's hard... cause I can't let my other eye to open up so I can see where I'm putting my eyeliner on. my eyes are weak... hahaha weak to stare.
so any tips on weak eyes? haha

yea,i do what most girls here do, pull/stretch out my eye so it's one straight line, and draw the line across. Most of the time i don't do the top, because it looks unnatural, and mascara usually does the job

tips? sure. don't poke your eye out in the process of "practicing".

When I wanted to start wearing makeup, I couldn't get it on right either. Try starting off with a pencil, and practice. say, whenever you don't plan on going anywhere, or it doesn't matter if you look a mess.
It may seem like a horrible waste of makeup, but it wont do any good if it looks like crap either.

if you are just starting get a more thicker eyeliner if you are using the screw up and down kind. but it is easier with a pencil.
put your opp. hand finger to close and pull the eye skin out.. this way the eye lid is taut and not like moving around.
and then with the eyeliner start from the inside and go out and there its done

Applying Top Eyeliner:
Close the eye you want to apply the eyeliner on (duh!). With one hand, gently pull on the outer corners of your eye to stretch them just a little bit (like when people make fun of asian eyes, that thing). The other hand, holding the eyeliner, DOT (not draw) a line in accordance to the shape of your eye. Yes, it may take a little bit longer, but for beginners, mess-ups are less noticeable/easier to fix. Speaking of, all you need to fix a mistake is a q-tip.
Tips:
1) After application, keep the eye closed to commute time for the eyeliner to dry and stay intact.
2) To prevent the eyeliner from smearing due to blinking, add a thin coat of powder eyeshadow in the relative area before/after application.
Any questions?

I'd start out with a pencil eyeliner that you smudge. it looks nicer than just a hard liner usually, and you don't have to be precise.
