i just wanted to ask if anyone has their cartilage pierced (the tip of ur ear) and i also wanted to ask if it hurt. 'cause i want to get mine pierced but im afraid it'll hurt more than normal ear lobe piercing 'cause it's part of ur bone.

anyways, she said that it didn't hurt after about 6 minutes...
but after a few days, it starts to throb and hurt...
it takes a while for you to change the jewelry

Yes, it hurts, I couldn't sleep on that side where it got pierced for like 2 weeks. Sometimes it feels like I had major migrains

Yuppers...I agree...Ive had mine done twice and it hurts really really bad. Ive taken them out since then but I want to get an industrial piercing like my manfriend did. His looks awesome. it didn't hurt for me...it went just as fast as it did for my ear lobe piercing. it hurt soooo bad when i tried to put an earring in there for the first time...my mom did it and i cried!

i don't have it pierced...but when i got a second piercing on each of my ears i thought i was going to die i can't really handle physical pain

but u cant sleep on the ear u got peirced for a while so make sure to get it not on the ear u sleep on

The pain varies from different people. I'm going to be getting my ear covered up with piercings except for the tragus. I doubt it'll hurt as much as the ear lobes would. My second holes were a pain in the ass. I hate piercing guns I heard you never put rubbing alcohol on a new piercing. If so, why not?

Well, i think if you get it done it will hurt, but getting your ear stretched hurts alot more, cause ive stretched my ear

I did. The piercing itself didn't hurt...I mean, it felt the same as when you get your lobes pierced...but the pain afterward. I can't sleep on it..haha, you gotta be VERY careful brushing your hair, anything. But, I know people who could sleep on it the same day, I guess it varies

I've had mine peirced, with a gun. The peircing feels the same as a lobe pericing, but its tender. It also takes a long time to heal fully. Your not sopossed to put rubbing alcohol on a peircing, or tattoo, because both are similar to an open wound, and alcohol is used to heal heal, as in close, an open wound. Also that can sting!

I'm going to in july....because thats when I turn 13, and here in Arkansas, you have to be 13 to get your cartilage pierced. it sux.... =(

i got mine pierced like 4 years ago wen i was like 11. lol but anyways if u go to a place, like claires in the mall, it doesnt hurt at all when u get it. but for a couple weeks after it hurts....u gota be careful when u take off ur shirt, wen u sleep, talk on the phone...ouch. but u gota keep it in for at least 3 months w/o takin it out much cuz it will get infected and that will SUCK!!!!!! that happened to my friend 3 times cuz she is retarted. good luck

i hav two cartilage piercings on my left ear. and yea, it hurts more than getting ur earlobe pierced. did u know that ear cartilage is one of the most painful piercings? helix (rim of the ear) is not that bad but the rook/daith/anti-tragus/snug are supposed to b the most painful piercings. i take pain very well and yes, my helix piercings did hurt but it was totally bareable. i love my 14 piercings, mwahahahaha
